Izzy pov

A few days ago we got a letter from the queen of the werewolves. The letter had stated that her and a few of her companions will be coming and I have to get everything ready as Alpha it's my responsibility to make sure everything's ready for the Queens arrival.

It has been 3 years since my brother died and I took the alpha title it is also been 3 years since the twins were born and the big war against my uncle. But something doesn't feel right. Even this visit from the queen doesn't seem right I just have this odd feeling that something big is going on or is going to happen.

So Jade how is Zoe? I asked my best friend as she walks up. She's fine just a little under the weather. Jade replies. All right I do need help with the preparations for the Queens visit. Will you have Alex make sure the chefs know what they'll be preparing. I asked Jade.

Yeah I can do that is there anything else you need Izzy. Jade asks. I shake my head and she were off while I get back into the other preparations.

All the preparations for the queen visit is in order. I head back to the pack house to the beta's office to see Xander. When I walk into the office I see Xander at his desk filling out paperwork. Without looking I go to take a seat on the couch Xander notices and shakes his head violently.

I turn around and look down on the couch to see Grayson and Gem sleeping peacefully on the couch. I whisperer thank you to Xander before pushing him off his office chair and taking a seat on it. He looks at me in shock then shakes his head and lifts me up in the air.

He's back on his office chair and puts me on his lap. That wasn't very nice Alpha. Xander whispers in my ear. I tried to hold in a laugh so I don't like the twins. I turn around in his lap. Is that so beta? I whispered in his ear. He chuckles before kissing my cheek and going back to paperwork.

I turn back around in his lap snatching the pen from his hands. I set the pen down and turn back around in his lap so I'm facing him. No more paperwork I need your help. I tell him in a serious tone. He looks at me like I just stole his candy.

You're saying no more paperwork you're all about paperwork. Xander did you finish your paperwork? Xander you've got more paperwork to do. Paperwork paperwork paperwork. Xander mocks me.

I do not obsess that much over paperwork. I tell him. Yeah right Izzy you bleed paperwork. Xander says. I do not I know how to have fun too. I tell him. Not lately, all you do is work lately. I hear in my head. Xander must have seen my face and realized his mental wall was down.

I feel him put his mental wall back up before giving me his full attention. What do you need Izzy. He says in a dampened tone. I sigh knowing he must be hurt with my absence lately. As you know the Queen's coming tomorrow and I'm swamped with everything. So I was wondering if the big strong beta could handle the kids tonight. I say he sighs.

I can handle the kids and tell you get home. What time should I expect you home? Xander asks with a defeated sigh. I just make sure the guest room is set up that's it so I shouldn't be that long maybe around 7:00 maybe 8:00. I tell him and he just shakes his head before nodding.

I know I've been absent all week because of the Queen's visit. It's really taking a toll on him and the kids heck it's even taking a toll on me. But I have to get done what has to be done for the Queen's visit. Plus my brother's birthday is coming up. And that really gets me in the dumps. I miss him awfully 3 years I haven't had him. 3 years my idol my hero gone.

I still sometimes blame myself for his death. He thought in that war to protect me from that evil Alpha. If you had it went there to fight he would be here being the alpha not me. My brother was a sweet guy he always put everybody else before himself.

I kissed xander's cheek before heading back to my office to finish my paperwork for the Queen's visit.

Today is the day the queen arrives. All the high ranking members are standing in front of the pack house waiting for her arrival. The guards mind like us to let us know that they have arrived. A silver limousine pulls into the front of the pack house.

It pulls over in the front. And the driver gets out and opens the door. Queen Bella the driver announces when a young woman steps out of the limousine. She steps to the side waiting for whoever came with her. A young man gets out of the limousine along with a young woman.

Prince William and his mate princess Raven. The driver announces. I get a width of the princess and understand that she's a vampire. We all bow our heads for the royals. Get up and introduce yourselves. Said the queen.

I stand up with my other high ranking members. Hello your Majesty I am Alpha Izzy. To my left is my beta and mate Xander. Next to him is my Delta Alex. To my right is my gamma zoe and her mate Jade. I introduce us all. As I say they names they each bow before standing up.

It's nice to meet you all I am just here to make sure everything's going smoothly in the pack. Just treat me as as you would treat any other werewolf in your pack. The queen says. We are nod before leaving them into their guest room.

I really hope everything goes smoothly for the Queen's visit
