𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐢𝐬 𝐚 𝐑𝐄𝐏𝐎𝐒𝐓 𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐦𝐲 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐬 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐬𝐞𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞..

4 weeks later..

Cotton walks by a school poster and takes a small look at it. "Huh. School prom?.." She thinks for a moment.

"Well. I don't have to dance there right..? I suck at dancing." She whispers to herself. Suddenly someone approaches. Putting their hands on cotton's shoulder.

"BOO!" Shouted Stuart. "AH! WHAT THE HELL STUART? YOU SCARED ME!"

"Heh, sorry, I just wanted to ask ya something.." Stuart replied. "Oh, okay, what is it?" Questioned cotton. "So.. My girlfriend paula.. She told me she's going somewhere far for only a few days and prom is coming.. I don't have anyone to dance with.. So uh.. Would you be my dance partner? As friends..?"

Cotton got sad at the last 2 words, but she accepts knowing he won't be there for her forever. "Hm.. Sure! It's just that I suck at dancing." Stuart then puts his hand on cotton's head and pats it. "Don't worry, I can teach you! At prom you just have to uh.." Stuart doesn't know how to explain, but cotton understands.

"Haha! It's alright, I get it.. It's like one of those romantic dance moves.. Right?"
Cotton gets a little nervous. ".. Yeah! I'm sorry for being stupid." Stuart replies with a sad expression. "No, no! It's okay. It's fine really.. I also suck at explaining things.."

Stuart then pulls cotton in for a hug. "Thanks, I'll see you at prom tomorrow?" Stuart lets go and pats cotton on the head again. "uhm.. Yep! I'll see ya tomorrow.."

𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐭/𝟐𝐃'𝐬 𝐩𝐨𝐯:

My phone starts ringing and I pick it up while walking. "Oh hey paula! How is it there?" I happily say. "It's hella boring here..I really want you to be here with me stuart.." Paula sounds a little grumpy, but sad at the same time. "Awwe.. Well.. It'll end in a few days right? Also dont worry, I'm not dancing with anyone you hate, I'm dancing with a friend of mine!" I say in a tone that makes her feel better. "Oh, alright.. I have to go now." Paula says in a angry tone. "Wai—" Paula ends the call. "Is she that mad that I'm dancing with a girl that is my best friend?" I scoff. "I'll prove her that she's only my best friend." I think to myself.

𝐂𝐨𝐭𝐭𝐨𝐧'𝐬 𝐩𝐨𝐯:

I walk home, gently opening the door, I start looking around and noticing my mom sleeping on the couch. I start getting a little sad thinking of her being homeless, but good thing she isn't.

I put my bag down in my room, grabbed a big blanket, and walked back to my mom.

I gently put the blanket on her while she's sleeping. Then I walk back to my room, instantly going on my phone. "Let's see what's new in YouTube today.." I end up finding cute videos of cats just playing with eachother, then falling asleep at 4AM.

𝐍𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐥 𝐩𝐨𝐯:

Cotton wakes up at 8AM, looking at the time "What.. Only 4 hours of sleep? Oh well.." She stretches and gets ready for school, putting a black prom dress in her bag. "I'll change into this in the bathroom later.." Cotton then says goodbye to her mom again after eating her breakfast. "Bye mom!" Shouted cotton. "Bye hun! Have a great day at prom!" Her mom shouted back.

After class..

Cotton walks to the bathroom and goes in one of the stalls, then changes into a black tight dress, it wasn't too tight though.

At prom..

Cotton looks around trying to find Stuart. Then she notices him walking to her. "Wow.. Uhm.. Stuart you look.." Cotton tries to find the perfect word for him. "Hot? I know." Stuart confidently says. "Haha! Yea.. Anyways.. How do we uhh.. Do the dance?" Cotton gets a little confused. "Here, follow what I do." Stuart takes cotton's hands and puts one on his shoulder, the other one he holds. Cotton starts turning red, but Stuart doesn't notice. He puts his other hand on cotton's waist.

And then they start dancing idk blah blah blah—
OK LET'S JUST GET TO THE DRAMA

A girl out of nowhere aggressively grabs stuart and starts walking to cotton. "P-paula?!" Stuart stuttered. "Oh shut up. I'll deal with this." Paula angrily starts going closer to cotton. "W-WAIT WE ARE JUST FRIENDS! SHE DOESN'T LIKE ME AND I DON'T LIKE H-HER!" Stuart stutters again. "Yea! Were just friends..I'm sorry!" Cotton says. "WHATEVER! DON'T EVER GO TO MY MAN AGAIN. GOT IT?" Paula shouts at cotton. "OKAY OKAY! SORRY." Cotton shouts back backing away.

Paula grabs Stuart and starts walking aggressively outside, then starts walking normally once it starts getting far. "Hey.. Why did you do that..?" Stuart asked, looking away from Paula. "She's just trying to steal you away from me." Paula pouts. "Steal me? We've been best friends for 1 month!" Stuart raises his voice a little. "Yeah well, she was probably still trying to steal you. Thank me for that!" Paula aggressively starts walking again. Stuart doesn't know what to say except look away and look like a depressed pigeon 😔
