It's been 4 weeks since my capture, and so far everything is ok. My obducter, Jack, has been pleasant enough.  He brought me the equipment I need and I have been making remedies. He brings me the plants I need and I make what he needs. Some are interesting at best. I ask about them and about himself but he doesn't talk much, he seems to listen though. Every time I try to communicate, he just sits there on the bed and stays silent. I end up going on a rant or just talking. I like watching him walk in and out of the house in the morning and at night. He cooks good food. Every morning there's breakfast On my nightstand and a note telling me what remedy he wants, he always says at the end of his letters to be careful and enjoy the day while I can. I don't know if he has good intentions behind it or if it's just a threat. The early afternoon he walks in and asks me about my progress. I answer with a joke to try and make the best of this situation. He never reacts. He then proceeds to give me lunch, a glass of water, and fresh clothes. Some are my style while others aren't. He escorts me to the bathroom, I take a shower and he always guards the door. After that, I continue working while talking his ears off as he sits on the bed and listens. In the night, he gives me dinner and leaves. I eat, clean up my mess from my day, and read to fall asleep. He's given me many books, most of which are filled with medical information, which is not bad to have. He escorts me to the bathroom when I need to use it and leaves a bucket in my room at night when he leaves just in case. I haven't needed to use it yet, fortunately. Honestly I don't mind this routine. In the 4 weeks, I've gotten used to it. I'm just worried my life will meet its end soon. I guess I'll do what Jack suggests every morning and enjoy it while I can. In this case that's all I can do.
