𝙾𝙲𝚃𝙾𝙱𝙴𝚁 𝟷𝟾, 𝟷𝟸 𝙳𝙰𝚈𝚂 𝚁𝙴𝙼𝙰𝙸𝙽

Donnie and Sydney were taking a walk in a forest surrounded area, it was beautiful.

"And what if you could go back in time and take all those hours of pain and darkness and replace them with something better?" Sydney said to Donnie.

"Like images or what?" Donnie asked.

"Well anything really, like I would want to replace mine with memories...with you. Basically just things that remind you how beautiful the world can be." Sydney explained.

"You would replace your hours of pain and darkness with memories of me?" Donnie stepped in front of Sydney, making her stop walking.

"Yeah, I would."

"Thank you for seeing me at such late notice." Dr Thurman said to Mr and Mrs Darko.

"We've both felt that it was time for to come in and discus-"

"What I think is going on with your son?" Dr Thurman interrupted Mrs Darko.

"Yea." Mrs Darko replied. "Um, well he's um. You know his past, and he was suspended from school for insulting his teacher." Mrs Darko explained.

"I'm not really sure that's a good example, I think he had just cause to insult her." Mr Darko said.

"Rose, let me just lay out what I think is happening here. Donnie's aggressive behavior, his increased detachment from reality seem to stem from his inability to cope with the forces in the world he perceives to be threatening." Dr Thurman explained.

There was a few minutes of silence, Dr Thurman let those words sink in with Mr and Mrs Darko.

"Has he ever told you about his friend Frank?" Dr Thurman asked the Darkos.

"Frank?" Mr Darko asked.

"Yes, the giant bunny rabbit."

"The what?" Mr Darko asked.

"I don't recall him ever having mentioned a rabbit." Mrs Darko said.

"Donnie is experiencing what is commonly called a daylight hallucination, this is a common occurrence among paranoid schizophrenics." Dr Thurman explained.

The vibe got sad and cold after she had laid the news out to them. "What can we do?" Mrs Darko asked.

"I would like to um, do more hypnotherapy and increase is meditation."

"Whatever will help him. Really, because that's why we're here. We just would like him to experience some relief. So, if you think that more medication will do that, then I think we should give it a try." Mrs Darko said, trying not to burst into tears right then and there.
