Backstory:
They were one of the first witches to befriend the Wittebane brothers. They were young back then. Then, while playing with young Phillip, they ran into an elderly vampire, who promptly tried to kill them and eat the. Echo protected Phillip, but at the cost of their own life. They got turned into a vampire. Echo got a fluffy white tail, and went to look for Phillip. But he'd vanished. They spent years searching for him, until they reunited. Phillip had grown up. Echo had not. Vampires could easily live up to 100, so 20 years was equeal to like 6 months. Echo was still a child while Phillip was around 20-30.
Echo decided to leave Boneburough for a couple of decades, in which they aged a couple of years. When they went back, however, Phillip and Caleb had vanished, and an 'Emperor Belos' had risen to power, and declared wild magic as dangerous. Echo found this interesting and tried to join the illusion coven, but the sigil wouldn't stick. So the empror himself tried to brand them. But even he couldn't make it work. Eventually, he offered Echo to work with him, even covenless. Echo agreed, and they learnt all the emperor's secrets with his ability to turn into a bat and cling onto the emperor's clothes as he conducted his making of the grimwalkers.
