Class has just ended, and skylar, a teacher at beacon was going over to glynda's office to see her. As well, they both had grown quite... fond of each other. Even if Glynda didn't show it that much and Skylar had openly showed it, it still counted. While in the meantime, Glynda was working on some paperwork for the school in her headquarter

Completely focused on it and muting any outside noise so she can get done with the never-ending pile of papers sitting on her desk, and quite literally... everywhere.

And while Glynda was typing and writing in silence, a knocking noise came out from her door. Which was because of Skylar of course!

"Glynda? Do you have a moment to talk?" Skylar asked quietly yet audible.

Glynda's eyes stopped focusing on the pile of papers In Front of her and turned her attention towards the voice and raised her glasses with the pad of her finger. She had a tiny smile on her face but you wouldn't notice that unless you kept looking at her for a while.

"Oh, Skylar! Yes I do, what is it? Did anyone cause any more trouble in your class? "

She said with a questioning look waiting for her colleague's answer. It was the norm for Skylar's class to cause a bit of trouble here and there, and Skylar being herself she couldn't really do much with a big amount of people at once.

"Ah! No no I just wanted to see how your doing and that stuff!"

Skylar slowly moved to sit in front of glynda's desk.

"I didn't really see you that much outside today..."

She said, sounding a bit concerned for Glynda. It wasn't a new thing for her to completely overwork herself.

"Oh! Well.. that's nice of you, thank you. And I'm alright, Ozpin just assigned me even more work. Uhm, never mind that. How are you?"

She rested her face and rested her arms on the desk from all the writing and tilted her face slightly.

"I'm fine! Just wanted to check in on you, you always seem so stressed y'know- you worry me"

she gave a concerned look while sounding a tad bit sad.

Glynda sighs as she slightly looks down then regaining her eye contact after a split second and starts talking.

"Well, work here has always been like this. It's no new thing. All between reviewing the new students' papers, signing assignments from my class even keeping everyone in check. It's natural. yet rest assured that you don't need to worry about me, I'm used to it."

Skylar glances at all the paper she has stacked up. It was a bit overkill. Even made it seem like there wasn't anyone else working at beacon so all of the work was pushed onto Glynda.

"How about you take a break and we both go for some coffee?"

Skylar said with a hopeful voice, her goal was to ask her to go out with her simply because she felt like it, but now that was changed and just wanted her to take some rest. If she could get her to do that.

"I... I'm not really sure about that Skylar. As you can see I have a lot to do. How about You can go alone or even better, ask someone to go with you? I'm just so busy I sincerely apologize."

Glynda said, yet her voice didn't sound very genuine. It had sounded like she did in fact want to spend some of her time with Skylar but couldn't. Not with everything she had to do.

"Ah- Its quite alright maybe another time?"

Skylar sounded quite sad at this but pretended to be fine. After all she didn't really want to make Glynda feel bad for not being able to go out, not that she had a choice.
