Prologue: this is a dystopian story based around a world where people have to do personality tests every week, and if you fail you get sent to a camp.

It was a bright cold day in march, and clocks were striking 13. Girls and boys. Men and women. Everyone is getting ready for the weekly personality test that the government wants us to do in order to make the world better.

Yet it’s just making the world worse.

Dreadfully, I put my shoes on and walked out the door. The loud, screeching voice from the telescreen began repeating “10 minutes to get to testing stations or else the police will come and have you dropped off at the camps.”

The threat was useless because even if you failed the personality test you'll get sent to the camps. I let out a great sigh and in a hurry, walked to the testing stations. TVs and billboards are warning me that I'm slowly running out of time.

I finally made it to the testing station with 2 minutes to spare. I walk in and immediately feel uncomfortable like this is the first time I've got the test done. I slowly walk up to the receptionist and tell her my name, Adrienne Alarie. She signed me in, and I walked to the waiting room until I saw the test master was available. 5 minutes passed. Then 10 minutes passed until I saw he was free. I quickly rushed over to him before anyone else could. Then I became extremely unstable and nervous.

He asks me multiple questions about the government whilst I'm sat panicking. Mid-test he stops and glares at me before yelling at the guards to come get me. I slowly felt my face lose all its colour and I just couldn't speak.

They handcuffed me and transported me to the back of their car to then take me to the train station. After the long and rough journey, we finally made it to the train station where I had to remove anything of colour like my necklace. Forcefully, they then put me on the train.

I was terrified.

The train began moving;it was going faster than the speed of light.

I looked around and I could feel my freedom being taken out of me. It’s not like the government gave us freedom anyways. In the distance, I could hear muffled screams. This is when I knew I was getting closer to the camp.

The train then came to a halt. Screams are getting louder. Guards opened the doors with anger, grabbing me forcefully. My eyes widened when I stepped out of the train. I knew i had to bring this to a stop.

The guards tugged on my arms as they directed me towards the camp.

Afraid, I just stayed silent.

As I looked around, a feeling of nausea and disgust grew upon me as I walked through the camps.

They were extremely tough on my arms, I could even feel trickles of blood go down my arms. We made it to my cell and the stench of soot and human waste cut through my lungs.
