"Hard to trust when hearts been broken so many times,"

>A week later<
>Jungkook's POV<

I hummed happily as I skipped through the second floor, heading towards Taehyung's office since it was lunchtime and we usually ate lunch together.

Lately, Taehyung's been working from home which makes me happy since I now get to see him more and now I don't have to worry if something will happen to him when he leaves for work. I almost reached his office when I heard someone curse.

Confused, I peaked to the left and widened my eyes when I saw Buyuk standing there. He was just standing there, his back to me as he leaned against a door.

I furrowed my eyebrows, what was he just standing in the middle of the hallway?

I flinched when Buyuk abruptly straightened up and quickly walked down the other hallway and disappeared. Something didn't feel right, the feeling only deepening when I saw Yoongi and Namjoon walk out of the door Buyuk was leaning near.

I stepped back swiftly, my heart slightly pounding, was Buyuk listening to Yoongi and Namjoon's conversation? But why?

The sound of clinking heels snapped me out of my daze and I whipped my head around to see who made the noise.

I immediately scowled once I saw that lean, shaped body of a pretty woman walk down the hallway and enter Taehyung's office, my Taehyung's office.

I have no idea who this pretty woman is and I've been meaning to ask Taehyung who she is since she has been coming around all week. All this week I've been pushing my jealousy down, telling myself she was just a client of Taehyung's, it's not like I've heard Taehyung laugh while she's there, alone with him. Alone

I gritted my teeth, jealousy getting the better of me as I stormed over to his office door. Taehyung told me I don't have to knock and be shy to come into his office and believe me, I walked in there without any hesitation.

"Yes, I would like it if you're able to do that–" Taehyung tried to say yet I interrupted his words, making both of them look at me.

"Oh, hey, bunny, what's wrong?" Taehyung's face immediately brightened once he saw me, his voice alone making my heart warm but I couldn't get distracted.

"Nothing much, I just wanted to see you." I smiled, walking until I rested on his lap.

Taehyung looked a little surprised at my actions but nevertheless wrapped his arms around my waist.

I snuggled my head into his neck, flickering my eyes open to glare at the woman in the front of us.

"Sugar...who's she?" I murmured, my lips slightly ghosting his skin.

"Oh, this is Lia, my friend and secretary at my company. Lia, this is Jungkook." Taehyung introduced us warmly.

I stared at her blankly and she gave me a small, expressionless smile, the kind of smile I've seen girl strippers give at clubs.

I just hummed a response, my eyes not lasting on her appearance.

"Well, as wonderful as it is to see you, bunny, I need you to leave," Taehyung said softly.
