*Hello! I used to write stories on here a long time ago, but missed doing this, so hello! This is my first x reader story, so I hope it isn't too bad, I've haven't seen one doe with an ultimate psychologist and thought it would be interesting to have the ultimate yakuza and psychologist interact! I hope you enjoy!*
-Y/N P.O.V-
I slowly picked myself out of bed and forced myself to walk to the kitchen to make something to eat. It was my summer break and I was tired from working everyday. My mom walked into the kitchen as I began to prepare some morning coffee.
"This is for you" She tossed a letter onto the kitchen island, I reached out and read the outside of the letter. 'Hope's Peak Academy?' I grab a butter knife and open the odd letter and begin reading it out loud.
"Dear, (f/n) (l/n). You have been selected to attend our amazing academy, Hope's Peak as the 'Ultimate Psychologist'" My mom stopped what she was doing to look at me with a look of shock.
"What?! You were selected to go there?" She runs over to me and grabs the letter out of my hand to get a closer look at it.
"What even is Hope's Peak Academy?"
"Do you live under a rock? It's only the best school to go to, only the students with the most exceptional abilities are selected. They say that if you attend that school, you are guaranteed a successful future!"
" And I was selected?" My mom began rambling while I just stood there and thought about what she said.
'Guaranteed a successful future'. There was never really a time where I thought that I was that 'exceptional' as my mom explained. People have always come to me for help. They tell me that I help them feel okay. That's how it's always been. I pretend to be okay, so I can help others. I've always put others before me. Although, I never thought of it a talent.
"Hey! There's an orientation next week before the first week of school, you're gonna go, right?" I gave her a weird look while trying to back away slowly. She reached out for my arm and looked at me.
"That was rhetorical, you have to go" I rolled my eyes while mumbling an 'okay' under my breath.
---Day of Orientation---
My mom forced me to wear a stupid dress and do my makeup, she drove me to hope's peak while I sat with a upset expression on my face because I did not want to dress like this. Little did she know, I grabbed some jeans and a T-shirt and stuffed it into my bag without her knowing. We pulled up to the school and I have to admit that it looked pretty intimidating. My mom practically pushed me out of the car while telling me to 'make some friends'. I mumbled a 'doubt it' under my breath and began walking up to the intimidating school and walked in. As I wandered around, I noticed a few students around, but tried to avoid them at all costs because I looked way overdressed. I spotted a girl's restroom at the end of the hall and started running, so no one could see me. Without realizing, I tripped over something and ended up falling into someone.
"Agh, ouch" I fell down and looked up to see that I had bumped into a boy in a black suit.
"Ugh, watch where you're going, dumbass!" He rolled his eyes and walked away from me.
Well that was rude. I stood up and rushed to the bathroom and got changed into my clothes I brought. As I walked out of the bathroom, a girl walked into me and immediately began apologizing.
"I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to run into you! I'm such an idiot, please forgive me!" This girl has got some deep rooted shit for her to talk like that.
"No problem! Are you here for orientation" Did I really just ask that? Why else would she be here? I rolled my eyes at myself.
"Yes! I'm Mikan Tsumiki, the ultimate nurse! Who are you?" Mikan smiled at me and seemed to be a very genuine person.
"I'm (f/n) (l/n), the ultimate psychologist" Her grey eyes seemed to glisten when I told her my talent.
"That's so cool! I help others on the outside and you help them on the inside!"
"Yeah, it seems so....um what class are you in?"
"Class 77-B!"
"Oh, mine too, wou-" Before I could finish my sentence, she grabbed my hand and dragged me into what seemed to be a classroom.
Mikan let go of my hand once we walked in and I put my hands on my knees while leaning over and breathing heavily. I don't normally run, so I was out of breath, this girl sure can run. Once I finally caught my breath, I straightened up and looked around the classroom. From what I read from the letter, there should be 16 students including me here. When I looked around, there seemed to only be 7 others besides Mikan and I. The others must be late or not attending. I noticed that one of the people is that asshole that I bumped into in the hallway. He sits in the back with his feet up while a girl with grey braids and crimson colored eyes sits at the table behind him. He seems like he'd be interesting to figure out. A girl with red hair and a camera came up to me with the rest of the people in the room, excluding the two that I was curious about.
---After introductions---
The rest of the students seemed to file in and introduce themselves and they're all so interesting, although everyone immediately started telling me their problems when I told them my talent, which was expected, but that one guy hasn't even left his seat, so I'm curious as to why. I excuse myself from the group of students and walk over to the blonde boy. While walking towards him, I can hear whispers, but I ignore them and sit down next to him.
"Hey!" I raise my voice a bit, in order to get his attention. He seems to turn his head towards me with a very irritated looking face.
"What the fuck do you want and why the hell are you talking to me?" He seems to be a very aggressive person, but I'm not feeling fear when he speaks.
"You're the guy I ran into in the hallway, aren't you? I wanted to apologize since you walked away before I could" He gives me a look and looks down at my jeans and back at my face.
"Weren't you wearing a dress earlier?" My face turns red and I reluctantly nod.
"How fucking stupid" He scoffs and looks forward while putting his arms behind his head.
My face changes and before realizing, I stand up and knock his legs off the table. Before I knew it, there was a sword to my neck and the person holding it was the girl that was seated behind the boy I was talking to.
"Don't touch him"
"Peko, stop it, stand down. NOW!" She retreats back to the table behind him and the boy stands up and walks up to me, in my face.
"Who the hell do you think you are?" His face expresses anger and hatred, but I still don't fear him. Looking at his baby face makes me smile because I can't take his anger seriously.
"(f/n)(l/n), pleasure to meet you." I smile while reaching my hand out.
"Tch- Fuyuhiko Kuzuryu" He shook my hand and walked back over to the seat.
"Hello class 77-B, I am Chisa Yukizome. I will be your teacher for this school year, let's get to know each other."
We all began to take our seats, I looked over to Fuyuhiko, gave him a smirk and sat next to him. This will be an interesting year, I already know.
*Hello everyone! That was the first chapter, hope you enjoyed it! Hopefully I will update as soon as I can,, if anyone reads this, that is!*
