Sophie Macintosh, yes that is my name. Not the most original name, but it was suitable for a girl like myself. I wasn't much of an interesting person. I didn't graduate high school with honors or play sports, and I didn't join the marching band. I wasn't a member of any clubs, not even the newspaper club. Probably the only exciting thing I can say I have done in my 19 years of living was taking in three stray cats on the same day when I was 14 years old.
Anyway, as I mentioned before, my name is Sophie Macintosh. I'm 19 years old, a Sagittarius, and a student at Wright State University in Ohio. I am currently pursuing a Bachelor's in British Classics and Gothic Literature. I've always enjoyed classic literature from "The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde" to "Dracula", and upon occasion "Brother's Grimm Fairy-tales". I would go to the local library every Monday growing up to check out any book that took place in Victorian England, Colonialist America, or as far as Transylvania and Moscow. If it involved unlawful murder, tragic deaths, monsters, cryptic, or even sex I would read the book. Of course, developed this interest when I was roughly 12 years old, because hormones I guess.
While most kids my age back then focused on who was with who, worrying about their appearances, and participating in sexual actions, I was found sitting with a book in my hands or with my earbuds in and listening to creepy podcasts. I'm not saying that books and podcasts are my life- okay, they might be, But, aside from that, I was just a normal girl. Keyword, "was".
My story begins on a hot sunny day in front of my dormitory building.
