Destiny POV
I started to feel sick to my stomach after my encounter with Mr. Sanchez, so I ran into the girls bathroom and got into one of the stalls before I closed it and locked it tightly. I opened the toilet seat up and tied my hair up in a bun quickly before I closed my eyes and started to vomit in it while I was on my knees. When I was finished vomiting, I put the seat down and flushed the toilet before I got up and grabbed a few pieces of toilet paper. I started to wipe the vomit off of my mouth and then sighed before I threw the pieces of toilet paper in the toilet and flushed it again. I unlocked the stall door and opened it before I walked to the sink and turned it on as I wet my hands and got soap on my hands as I rubbed the soap on my hands and then started to wash my hands.
When I was done washing my hands, I turned the sink off and grabbed a few pieces of paper towel before I dried my hands off really good and then threw it away. I walked out of the bathroom and continued on with my day, trying to ignore what had happened earlier today. When it was time for lunch, I went into the cafeteria and grabbed my lunch before I walked to the table and sat down as I started to eat. Then, my best friend and the new kid walked over to me and sat down next to me. They started to eat with me and I saw the new kid looking at me before I looked back at him and smiled slightly.
“Hi.” I finally spoke. “I’m Destiny. What’s your name?”
“Hi.” The new kid replied. “I’m Adam.”
“Nice to meet you.” I replied.
“You too.” Adam said.
“He’s really cute.” My best friend, Gia blurted out.
“Dude.” I said, smacking her arm.
“Um thank you.” Adam said, starting to blush slightly and then finished eating. “Well I got to go.”
“Oh okay.” I said. “Bye.”
“Bye Adam.” Gia also said.
“Bye ladies.” Adam replied, grabbing his plastic tray and got up before he threw it away in the trash can and walked out of the lunchroom with his stuff.
My best friend and I started to talk about Adam but I didn’t want to talk about him because I wanted to tell her about what Mr. Sanchez did to me earlier today. When she was done talking, I started to talk about what had happened earlier today and her eyes immediately widened before she gasped and looked at her shocked. She started to ask me questions and I answered then honestly before she blinked and shook her head, trying to figure out why Mr. Sanchez was acting this way towards me. I shrugged at her because I honestly didn’t know why Mr. Sanchez was doing this to me but I had to get to the bottom of it and I knew that I needed help with this situation, so I asked her if she would help me and she immediately nodded at me but she told me that we would need more people to help us with this, so I nodded and agreed with her. When we finished eating, we got up and threw our trash away before I spotted Mr. Sanchez staring at both of us and my eyes widened.
I tapped Gia’s arm and started to breathe hard before she turned her head and saw him looking at us. She rolled her eyes and flipped him off before I made her put her hand down and walked back to our table. We grabbed our things and left the lunchroom before I sighed and shook my head, trying to calm myself down but my anxiety was so high that I couldn’t focus at all. Gia noticed that I was having an anxiety attack, so she immediately sat me down and tried to calm me down. After five minutes, I had finally calmed down and looked at Gia before I finally got up with her and we both decided that we were going to skip our last period class as we walked out of the school with our stuff and breathed in the fresh air.
“So what do you want to do?” Gia asked me.
“We can go to my house.” I suggested. “My parents are at work, so they won’t know that we skipped.”
“Okay.” She nodded, starting to walk to my house with me.
“So what are we going to do about Mr. Sanchez?” I asked.
“We could tell your parents.” She replied, finally reaching my house and walked to the front door with me.
“I guess.” I shrugged, unlocking the door with my key and opened it before I took my key out of the keyhole and started to walk into my own home. “Come on. Let’s continue talking inside.”
“Okay.” She nodded and walked in, not noticing that there was an unknown car parked in front of my house as she walked in and closed the door before she locked it tightly from behind.
