Every living thing in sight seemed to be peacefully sleeping. Not even one  residents making any single noise.
It was quiet like every night, nothing was out of the ordinary.

Two men watch and waited patiently for each lantern go out, waiting until every human was in their respective houses. The cold breeze wildly danced around them as it howled like a hungry beast. They wore armor, ready for a brawl once the village gets alarmed of their presence and try to fight back.

"May we go down there now?" Asked the one with white curly hair, sitting upon a large rock.
"Patience, Esidisi," the one with purple hair replied, "this village is known for its high protection, best to wait until the last lantern  gets turned off..."

Esidsi; the Flame Warrior, glanced back down at the village, observing its residents like they were merely little ants scurrying upon the ground.
"Remind me of our mission here, Lord Kars," Esidisi asked.
Kars; the prominent leader, looked upon the village like he were the king of it.
"The chief of this village's army is suspected to have possession of the red stone, I am not sure who it is and in which house they reside in so we will break into all of them, feel free to slaughter those who get in your way and oppose you..."

Esidsi nodded and glanced back down at the village, waiting for that one last source of light to go out.
The two waited into late in the night, waiting for their moment to strike. The air grew colder and wilder. The two did not move an inch from their spot at all, none of them spoke, staying quiet in anticipation.
Their whole bodies were obscured in shadow, only their eyes standing out as the moons rays illuminate off them, but to the villages it just looked like the stars.

Waiting almost an hour or more the two just stood as still as pillars, until...

The last light had finally gone off and the whole village was nothing but darkness.
With a wave of his hand, Kars made haste and slid down the mountains edge to the village, Esidisi followed behind.
Quietly as a mouse the two snuck around the village, staying cautious of the volume of their footsteps as they walked upon the gravel pathways.
Esidisi did not utter a peep, he just followed his partner behind as he observed the buildings.

Kars knew from last villages they raided before that the higher on the hierarchy someone in a village was the more large and prominent their houses were.
He looked around for the larger houses, using the silhouettes to determine what is the largest house.

Finally, Kars picked a house he thought was the largest and stepped aside for Esidisi, pointing at the wooden door locking the the house. Esidisi nodded and raised a hand to it, out of his finger nails came out his long veins that moved like tentacles, the ends of them attaching itself to the door and released small doses of molten lava, the door deteriorating and disintegrating, melting into a molten liquid mush.
The two walked into the house and as quietly as they could raided the building, looking through cardboard, cabinets and wardrobes high and low in search of the stone.
In Kars search he walked up the stairs to the second floor of the building, his tall structure making him having to duck since the roof was too low for him.

He walked down the hallway as quietly as he could until he found an obstacle.
At the end of the hallway he saw a small silhouette standing out stand the door, it's small body arched and hairs standing up right, it's yellow eyes seemingly glowing in the dark.
It was a small feline, it hissed at Kars. It seemed to be guarding the room of where the owner of the house was sleeping in.
Kars looked away from the cats eyes, showing the cat there is no need to be intimidated by his presence.
