Chapter 5 ice skating

I open my eyes and realized that I was sleeping on Danny's bed I can hear Annie and Danny talking about something. It's kinda hard to hear them but all I hear is something about, ice skating. I just mind my own business and just get up from Danny's bed "Good morning Milo" "Good morning Danny" I responded still feeling a bit tired. "Hey, Milo I was thinking we could go somewhere later" "Huh? uhhhh Sure I guess" I can see a smile appear on Danny's face as I except "Is Annie coming too or is just us" "As much as I would I can't, I'm busy" (Danny's POV) "Hey Annie do you still have your skates" "Ya why" " I was thinking on taking milo to the ice skating rink" "we haven't been there in a while" "what about blaze" " eh I haven't been in contact with him. But if you want to take Milo then I can let him borrow my skates" "thx" Milo then finally woke up "Good morning Milo" "Good morning Danny" he said while half awake. (Milos POV) Danny, Annie, and I were just talking when we heard someone coming down. It was Danny's mom. Annie rushed out the window as Danny and I went into his closet to hide. As I entered I lost my balance and fell bringing Danny with me. He sat up sitting on top of me and looked out the closet to check if his mom was gone yet. "Ok we're good we can go now" We got out of the closet and got ready for school. As we got to school all I could think of was what happened at Danny's house. The thought that maybe he probably liked me. NO! Don't think that he's just your friend he was just trying to help you. As I was getting my stuff from my locker I felt arms wrapped around my waist. "AHH!" " calm down it's just me" I turn around to look at Danny both mad and embarrassed. "Come on we have to go" "Where are we going" "You'll see," Danny says while taking me by my hand. We kept walking and went to a forest. Once we got there I was shocked to see a beautiful place with a frozen pond. " why are we here" I ask Danny while putting on ice skates "Here just put these on" Danny says while handing me some ice skates. Once I put on my skates Danny was already on the ice helping me to on as well. Danny held my hands and helped me onto the ice. As I started to get the hang of it I started to skate on my own (with Danny by my side). I lost my balance and fell but Danny caught me by my waist as I look at into Danny's eyes he looks back at me. He then puts his hand gently on my face while my heart starts to beat faster and faster. As he pulls me in he then kissed me I was shocked for a second but then kissed him back. Once he pulled away my face started to turn red again while Danny just smiled. "Your face is cold" While saying that Danny took off his beanie and pulled it over my head. Danny then smiled down at me and grabbed my hand while skating.
