I wake up again and start my sad routine and run to school with toast still in my mouth. I reach the rooftop and finish off my food. Today I got lucky and managed to get past my bullies, i sat on the roof for an hour with no one next to me. I thought "woah, that's really strange, Michael usually is always very early?".
A few more minutes go by and suddenly the rooftop door opens wide, I see a tall figure. Its Michael!! He's sweaty and looked even better than before. "Hey, sorry i couldn't get here faster" he says, while panting. His heart beat goes by really fast. "W-w-w-w-w-w-w-what w-w-were you d-d-doing?" I say, hoping that I didn't interrupt his business, "Ah, nothing happened, it's just the bus was late.. yea" he says while panting heavily, i could tell it wasn't that and that he was lying to me, how could he lie? Or maybe he was trying to protect me? "D-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-do y-y-y-y-y-y-y-y-y-you w-w-want m-m-my w-w-w-water?" I ask, while still stuttering because I had interrupted his thinking. "Hah, no thank you" said Michael. I brushed off the fact he was panting and start talking about the party.
Our chat was so long the bell rang and we had to go home. But before that, Michael said something to me "Wait! Please, before you go, take this." He hands me a lovely necklace, it has a heart pendant. "Its a good luck charm" he smiles brightly while I thank him "T-t-t-t-t-t-thank y-y-y-y-you s-so m-m-m-much" I say happily.
Walking home, I held the pendant close to me, it was warm.
