as the trainees are literally being "collected" off of the street, the show takes on a collectable card concept. meaning, the trainees get/become a card. this will be used to track and show their improvement through the show. (something gained from the special trainers, the recruiter, their peers, the audience, & the other off camera trainers).
these cards include stars, which just like a game, indicates their quality/level. the star amount is anywhere from 1 to 5. the trainee's card begins with the number of stars that they believe they have (the form) yet this # will go down after the initial review. as each trainee will start off with one star.
a trainee gains stars by earning exp from those mentioned above.
EXP !
the trainees will gain exp as they train and go through performance missions. if they successfully make it through to the performance itself, then they will automatically be able to gain another star, no matter how many exp points they have. however, not everyone makes it through the mission and this depends on how well they perform at the mission checkpoint. a trainee can still earn a star by naturally leveling up.
