Since that we started becoming close friends.
I gained some confidence to approach others and make new friends.
Yes, Many still made fun of me as I didn't have a father but I was able to make friends with three girls and two boys.
We all hung out when we were free and in PE periods.
We enjoyed each other's company.
After playing with my friends I went back home tired.
I threw my bag to the side and fell on my bed.
Suddenly I heard a knock on my window.
"Sora...Open the door" Jungwon whisper yelled.
I rushed to the place and opened the window after fixing my messed up hair.
He smiled while holding two ice cream cones.
"Here" He gave me one of it.
"Why?" I looked at him confused.
"Because you helped me today" He said. We talked alot about our teachers and favorite things.
"You did well" He said seeing my card that I made for my mom's birthday.
He patted my head.
"I don't like it" I slightly shoved his hand away.
"Really? I won't do it again then" He said and smiled.
We started laughing and talking again.
He applied the last bit of ice cream on his nose and lips and made weird faces to make me laugh.
"Jungwon..."
I called his name out.
"Yes?" He replied while gazing at the starry sky.
"Will you be with me forever?" I asked him and turned to him.
He turned back and smiled.
"Yes, Forever" He said and took his pinky finger out.
"I promise" He said linking with my pinky finger.
I smiled as well as he did.
Soon the Summer break started.
"Jungwon!! Jungwon!!" I ran as he walked faster.
"Are you angry?" I looked at him nervously.
All 5 other friends were there with us.
"Jungwon, Did I make you angry, I am sorry, let's be friends again" I said holding his hands.
If that he would've told that he doesn't want to be my friend anymore, I wouldn't have hated him this much.
He pushed me back.
"You...and Me friends? Haha! You are so delusional. I was never your friend, You disgust me. You don't have a father" He said and looked at me who was lying on the ground with my knee scratched.
I got up and looked at him as I wiped my tears.
"Atleast, I am better than a monster like you, who likes to hurt people's feelings" I held his collar and said.
I pushed him as well and ran away wiping my tears as I realized.
