"You never answered my question," Nick stated, walking over to the table to pat it, signalling for me to sit down.
"Oh I'm fine I just hurt my shoulder," I replied.
Aero came over and stood next to Nick, handing me an ice-pack.
"Thanks," I smiled grateful for something to numb the pinching pain.
"Is it bad?' Nick asked.
"Not too bad just a weird pinching feeling."
"Could we check it out?" Aero requested, staring right through me with his pretty blue eyes.
Apparently I look into them for a bit too long, Nick waving his hand in front of my face to snap me out of whatever daze I was in.
"Oh yeah sure, sorry," I chuckled nervously.
I scooted to the corner of the table, Aero going beside me and Nick in front.
They both began placing their hands on my shoulder, kneading the sore muscle and trying to sooth it better. It hurt a little, but it felt relieving, the tension slowly disappearing.
Every time I glanced at either one of them I felt the need to stare at their godly features increase.
Up close it was so much easier to see the little golden flecks amongst the amber of Nick's eyes. His beautiful long lashes looking unreal and almost doll-like on his small face.
Aero had the tiniest bit of stubble, outlining his sharp jawline. The urge to trace my fingers along it was incredibly overwhelming.
I quickly looked away before they could catch me again, I've dealt with enough embarrassment these past couple of hours.
I took the time to admire the smooth paint job of the wall. The colour was very interesting, i wonder what they call it? Ah yes, white. With a hint of yellow I believe.
Slowly my thoughts drift off to today's strange course of events. Getting fired. Getting cheated on. Extremely loud gum chewing. Two godly men giving me a massage for me to then scream, fall off the table, and pass the fuck out.
Personally, I think I deserve an Oscar.
"Anna? Hello?"
"Huh?"
I realise Aero and Nick were in front me now, staring at me.
Confused I ask, "What happened?"
"We've been trying to get your attention for like," Nick remarked, checking his watch dramatically, "ages now."
"Shit sorry, I-"
"Let me guess," Aero interrupted, "you were lost in your thoughts?"
I chuckled, rubbing the back of my neck. The pain in my shoulder was gone.
"My shoulder feels a lot better now, thank you guys."
"Anytime," Nick replied. A long moment past in a comfortable silence before Nick spoke again, "What's got you so distracted?"
