Chapter 3

Caitlins pov:

Where tf is my shoe I'm gunna be late on my first day on the job

I hear Tyler comin down the stairs " can't find your shoe huh "

I sigh " nope and these are my favourite " I walk into the kitchen with one shoe on and one missin till I hear Tyler scream " FOUND IT IT WAS BEHIND THE PLANT " I sprint over and quickly put it on " right let's go I'm gunna be late

We jump into the car and go

We finally get there and livs allready at the door waiting for me
"Hi you must me caitlin I'm liv I'm gunna be who you will be working with and also your assistant "
Tyler comes next to me after going shop on the other side of the road
"Hi I'm Tyler I'm the one who's going to do a trial here "
"Ah yes please follow me we just have to get you to sign some things "
We walk inside and she shows me my very own classroom
"So you have this classroom for the primary kids and miss smith is in the nursery classroom if there is any questions please just radio me on this radio " she hands me a radio " thank you "

I walk into my own classroom. I just stand there looking around. My own classroom. Wow. I never thought I would get to this.

I hear the radio start " kids will be coming in in about 5 minutes"

I sort my desk out and get some colouring sheets out and put some on each table

"Tyler will be joining you after all the kids are in please open the door and let the kids in anything the parents wants to warn us please radio me "
"Okay I'll go let the kids in now "

I stand at the door and take a deep breath. "You can do this Caitlin you can do this " I open the door and see all the kids leaving there parents and some stopping at me giving me chocolate my heart melted some parents came to me just saying some are shy and that or some kids know each other can I keep them with each other some ended up giving me emails and numbers to keep in contact with them if there child wants to call home or send pictures of work

I close the door and get the kids sat down with whoever they want Everyone settles down fast but one kid. He catches my eye he's sat alone looking at the table. I walk over and get on my knees to talk to him

"Hi what's your name" he stays looking at the table "leo" His voice is so cute " hi Leo I'm Caitlin let me get the class started and I'll come help okay " he nods

All the kids see me going to the board and they become silent
"Hi everyone my names caitlin I'm going to be one of your teachers I have two classrooms this one and one in the nursery let's go around the classroom and say are name and what are favourite colour is ".

We go around and most of the kids have adorable names like for the boys Harry,Charlie and corey The girls Lana,katelyn and milaya

" okay class I have put some colouring sheets on your table grab one and come pick some colours from my desk and go colour it in for the wall "

I walk over to Leo "Hey little man" he looks at me and goes "big man" I laugh " sorry big man Why don't you colour this sheet in this is my favourite one " he looks at me and smiles and nods his head he runs to my desk and gets every colour there is

He's not gettin any special treatment I just want him to feel comfortable with me as I'm going to be his teacher for awhile

I walk over to Charlie and tap him on the shoulder " hi Charlie I was wondering if you would like to colour with Leo as he's on his own " he nods and gets his sheet I take him over to Leo and get on my knees to be at his height again "hey big man Charlie's gunna sit with you and colour " he nods and looks at Charlie I walk over to my desk

Tyler walks in And comes over to me
"Wow you got the kids settled fast sorry I took long she had me do some stuff to do with collage and that I have news aswell but it can wait "
"Allright well leo over there ( I point to him) he's abit shy and." Tyler covers my mouth.
"Caitlin. D. Do you even know who's kid that is ..." i shake my head sideways he takes me outside the classroom but I keep the door open abit so I can hear everyone "Caitlin. That's the mafias kid the one nobody can overpower."
My heart starts to beat fast.
"What how why's he not in a private school then why is he here. Omg"
He gets his phone and opens Google and search's up Jake the mafia and turns the phone to me " that's the mafia not even the government can overpower him he says he wants his kid to have a normal life because he didn't he wants him to be treated the same as everyone else"

We go back inside the classroom and I walk over to Leo
" hey Leo who dropped you off this morning "
He looks at me abit scared "my daddy's brother James why am I in trouble"
"No no don't worry It's just bc Ino who your daddy is everyone knows who he is I see you and Charlie are good friends" he smiles "yeh he's my best friend" he Carry's on colouring
I radio liv "liv get to my classroom asap I have some news"

She comes to my class and I show her the mafia she looks confused " yh that's Jake the most powerful person in the world what's the news ?"
I point at leo " that kid. Yeah that's his son IN ARE SCHOOL "
She stands there looks at me then leo to back at me " what omg why isn't he in a private school tho that's the question "
"He wants leo to have a normal life because he never did he wants it to be different for leo"
