Sometimes weird things that you see today will appear in your dreams.

You pulled up the covers. It's already bedtime and you are about to sleep. You finished fixing your things minutes ago, some still are left, but you decided to work on it in the morning.
You sighed and shut your eyes. "Alright. I can do this. It will probably one of those chasing nights. I've done this a thousand times and I can do it again."
Sleep drifted you off sooner, and then you felt the familiar force pull you away.
"Go."
Your eyes shot open. You blinked once, twice. Still, darkness filled your vision.
As you walked, you feel the water pool around your toes. They are surprisingly cold. You stretched out your arms to your sides and tried to find a wall. But with no luck, you didn't find any. It seems that the place is incredibly wide.
The coldness of the water bites your feet. It stung but not enough to give you pain.
A cold breeze brushed against your cheek, and you followed it, because you are a hundred percent sure that it means that it leads to your exit.
Surprisingly, you haven't felt anything yet for the first time in your life. Usually the chase begins once you woke up. But now, you couldn't think of why it somehow... delayed? You didn't even know if it's going to come or not. You don't have the time to ponder it right now, though-finding the exit makes you busy.
The cold breeze grew stronger. It smacked your body in an instant-meaning you are nearer to the source-then it was gone again.
It was replaced by a shot of panic. There is the feeling that you've been looking for a while back.
You didn't have to think twice before running towards the breeze. You ran, and ran, leaving splashes of water trailing behind your feet. You heard a low growl as it ran behind you.
Soon enough, a faint yellow light come from a distance.
It was a staircase in the middle of the black void. When you got to the stairs, you hurriedly reached for the top.
A door stood before you. It seemed old. A tiny part of the hinge has rust in it. There are black spots on the sides of the door. Every part of it is dirty looking except for its knob. It is shining brightly in golden color.
You opened the door and went inside. Like your past dreams, a light shone brightly on your eyes.
You hit the ground with a thump; the door closed with a click.
You rolled over your stomach and struggled to calm your breathing.
What was that? You certainly didn't experience like it before. You didn't get to feel exhausted like this. You feel exhausted up to the moment you could vomit. Your muscles tremble and your head throbs, making you see spots in your vision. More importantly, you should have woken up by now.
When you felt ready, you stood up and dusted your clothes. You noticed that there is a silver string tied around on your stomach. Well that's something new, too.
You examined around the area. The place looked dire. Ashes and snow fall down from the gray sky, moving along to the rhythm of the cold wind and filling the place with white and black. There are few pine trees stood in some few corners. Though their color is also gray and seem lifeless. Everything is in monochrome color; everything is in the color gray.
The wind doesn't howl, though. You can't hear the rustling of the leaves. You can't hear anything, really. Even when you stomped your foot in the snow, you heard nothing but the sound of your breath.
After a few moments of silence, a monotone sound went through your ears. It's the ticking sound of a clock. It keeps its beat. Just making tick, and tock.
You started to move forward whilst looking around. You still need to be aware. Your monster could jump in front of you anytime.
Not far from you, hundreds of black shape figures came into your view. Curiosity took your mind and you decided to know what they are.
You stumbled back and stared in horror when you got closer to the figures.
It turns out that it wasn't just simple figures that stand in a distant. They were black corpses, each tied on its own post. It looks like that someone burned them. Other corpses are skeletons-empty black sockets stare at you-some are still fresh. There are spots of muscles can be seen on their body and face, still dark as charcoal.
"Okay, okay. Be cool, (name). Be cool." You said as you rub your arms.
You continued to walk, ignoring the corpses that you pass. The ticking sound accompanies you as your way through the place.
You saw another object in your view. This time it was floating and you are sure that it's only alone. It's glowing in bright yellow.
'That's weird', you thought, coming closer to the object. 'It's the only thing with color.'
It's a triangle... floating in front of you. Its eye stares at you, shocked (from what you can tell, though you are not sure since its features is only an eye. No mouth, ears. It has nothing that you can base off). The figure looks kind of funny, not in a humorous way. It is wearing a black bow tie and a long top hat. Its lanky arms are holding its cane to his front, while its black legs (it is much shorter than the arms) are hanging below its base.
Your mouth opened agape. You do not know what to do. It keeps on staring at you and you are beginning to feel uneasy.
You heard a static noise. It was coming from you. Your body starts to fizzle and makes static sounds. Thus, making your feet disappear for a few seconds, until your lower half of your body disappears.
You looked back to the floating object. It still quietly stares at you with the same expression. Not a single flinch can be seen. It keeps on floating. You wondered if it just like that all the time?
The static ate you whole, a light blinded your vision, and once again you lie awake on your bed.
