Dear diary,
This is the last time I'll be writing. I've got a lotta artwork to finish & a buyer/art lover named Brianna Brickstone is coming to meet me & buy some of my paintings. So, I'll be really busy. Also, I can't believe I've been in the city for a few weeks & haven't done any shopping/ sightseeing yet! So, I'll be goin' out & I'll probably visit Staten Island too (hopefully I'll bump into the Jokers...fingers crossed!) Maybe, I'll 'paint the town red' (not literally!) TOODLES 4 NOW!That was the last diary entry & the rest of the pages are blank, so Sal stops reading. Suddenly, Alex enters (back from the salon!) She sees the diary in his hands. "Sal, where'd u find my diary?" she asks. "Oh, this? This is the most boring & shortest diary I've ever read!" he jokes. "Well, I forgot all about it. I got so busy, became a famous artist, met u & I guess this diary...lay forgotten!" she replies, as she flips through the pages. "So, whatever happened to ur mom & Nat?" Sal asks. "Nat went back to Russia. We still Skype...& I haven't spoken to my mom in a long time! I've had a very busy schedule." Alex reveals. A tear rolls down her cheek. Sal wipes it off. "Maybe, I'll submit ur diary to a publisher, who'll turn it into a book, like 'Anne Frank's diary'." Sal suggests. "Yeah, right! No-one's gonna read it!" Alex laughs. "Someone will...maybe ur mom will! Wanna call her & ask if it's a good idea?" Sal asks, handing her the phone. "Sure!" Alex replies, grinning. "Tell her about me too!" Sal reminds.
Hope u enjoyed reading!♡
