16. REALITY

"You made me feel like home today, Taehyung," Jin said, smiling. He didn't have the courage to look at Taehyung, so he stared at the ceiling instead.

Jin continued, "I'm sorry for behaving that way with you every time. I never meant to. And what you told me that day, Taehyung... I missed you too." Saying this, Jin glanced at Taehyung, who was now sleeping soundly.

'Aish, to whom did I even say those words?'Jin said to himself annoyed, and turned his back towards Taehyung.

But little did Jin know, Taehyung had heard everything and couldn't stop smiling. His heart was racing, and he gazed at Jin's back, still smiling. Then, he slowly closed his eyes, and sleep took over.

It was almost evening, and Jungkook, Jimin, Yoongi, and Hoseok stood in front of their apartment. Hoseok unlocked the door with his spare key.

"Did they receive our calls?" Jimin asked Yoongi.

"No, I don't know where they are. What's their problem that they can't even answer our calls?" Yoongi replied, annoyed.

As soon as Hoseok opened the door, he noticed two pairs of shoes at the entrance. "Guys, look! There are two pairs of shoes, and one of them belongs to Jin hyung. Could they be here?"

"Let's go inside, but I don't think they'd be here; the atmosphere is too quiet," Yoongi stated.

Upon entering, Jimin spotted Taehyung's clothes on the floor. "Hyung, these are the same clothes Taehyung wore today. Why are they lying on the floor? Did they...?" Jimin trailed off, shocked.

Hoseok chuckled and intervened, "Yaah, Jimin, stop it. Jin hyung isn't like you and Jungkook. Come, let's check the room."

Jimin and Jungkook pouted, "What's wrong with being us, Hobi?"

Yoongi rolled his eyes. "Yaah, you two stop it. Help him check the room." Yoongi and Hoseok headed to the guest room.

Jimin whispered to Jungkook, "Don't you think something is going on between those two? As much as I know Yoongi hyung, he doesn't listen to anyone as much as he's listening to Hobi nowadays."

Jungkook nodded, "Yeah, and same goes for Hobi. Something is fishy. Now, let's go check the other room before Yoongi hyung sees us chatting and breaks our bones."

Jungkook chuckled, held Jimin's hand, and they went to check 2seok's room.

Both Jin and Taehyung were sleeping soundly, unaware that they were hugging each other. Jin was in Taehyung's arms, with Taehyung holding Jin by the waist, close to his body, and Jin's hand on Taehyung's chest. Their legs were tangled together.

"Kook, what the hell are they doing?" Jimin whispered to Jungkook as soon as he entered the room and saw Taehyung and Jin in that position.

"Let's call them, or else if they wake up and see each other in this condition, I don't think they'll remain alive," Jungkook said, worried. As much as he knew his hyung, Jin wasn't the type to get comfortable with someone he'd just met a month ago. 'Are you falling for him, hyung?' Jungkook thought, looking at Jin.

"Yaah, Jungkook, why the hell are you standing still?" Yoongi shouted at Jungkook as soon as he entered the room, which made Taehyung stir and slowly open his eyes. The first face he saw was Jimin's.

As soon as he saw Jimin's face, he remembered what had happened, and his sleep flew away. What was he doing with Jin? He should be busy pursuing Jimin. And wait a second, why was Jungkook smiling at them? Shouldn't he be jealous seeing him and Jin together? Did he really like Jin?
