(4) Hindrances

You left the vent where you were going, remembering what the driver told you, you had to avoid the animatronics that were doing their job but you saw that there was no one there, not even animatronics, as if the place had been evicted or starting to be abandoned. There was no light like that and you wanted to look for a switch that would allow you to turn on the lighting in the place, so you walked safely lighting it with your flashlight, you saw your watch and it was already after 0am...

How fast time went by, you thought.

There was no noise or anything that bothered you and that kept you more focused, you wanted to finish doing those tasks before the days of your on-call expired, they were somewhat simple but also were enough, you thought about staying in the morning since there weren't any animatronic, you doubted how the work was going to be done in the morning if they didn't have entertainment to work normally, or they simply worked like a normal restaurant with a party theme without animatronics, a bit boring that made you think that's how they were working and that's why the place was so lonely and quiet.

You walked until you reached the door and opened it, a solid sound from the door accompanied it along with a metallic sound that was heard from the ceiling, which you decided to ignore since it could have been the scratch on the door since it was made of metal. You closed the door and entered the same lighting with your flashlight, going deeper you saw that the flashlight was gradually dazzling, which made you look for batteries or something to light or replace the flashlight.

How stupid...

you left your cell phone in the control center along with your suitcase of things, the only thing you had in your hand were the jobs and tasks assigned in a blog and your spent flashlight. Shit...

You entered and saw a couple of boxes and things that made the place look like a warehouse, there was no lighting, you went to the switches where you disassembled the power box to fix it and while you were checking that, you lit it with the flashlight that was held by your mouth, 2 hands were not enough for your work, behind you even through the door, you heard as if something metal was scratching the door, you could hear screeching against the door, which scared you and you threw the lamp your mouth.

Fuck...screwed up.

The flashlight had gone out and you came to the conclusion that the lantern was going to go out at any moment anyway.

What were you going to do now, it wouldn't be long before you finished connecting cables and putting things in their place, you had gotten upset and that consumed your fear, you grabbed your flashlight and banging it you went looking for some batteries or a new flashlight, so you were a little distracted, you bumped into things on the ground, which made you even more mad. Almost reaching the door, you saw that it was paired, which implied that someone had entered, that froze you and you began to fear a little, leaving aside the problem with your flashlight.

You peeked out to see if there was any movement since everything was dark, you started to hear noise from the top (of the room) on the side where you were, you didn't want to make any noise, you didn't even ask if there was someone.

You started to doubt what was happening, so you turned around and went back to where you came from.
