you, dina, jesse, and ellie. the dynamic group. always with each other, always. if people don't see y'all with each other, they always ask where they are.
you four really complimented each other, the second you all met you knew you were gonna like them.
eventually you all got older, and you'd think you'd all distant yourselves like other groups, not them though.
you were now all 19 except of jesse, he was the oldest one, being 20, but still is the most childish out of all of you.
you all promised each other to never separate, no matter what happens.
*now*
you decided to invite your three besties over at your apartment sense you found your Uno card collection after looking for it for about 2 months now.
it was a fun game, and you didn't know if they ever played. so why not play it now?
*knock, knock*
you knew that was dina, she always knocked twice. unlike ellie and jesse they would dramatically bang on your door if you don't open up quick enough.
you were finishing setting everything up and tried to make it as comfortable as possible for them. you sprayed some Berry and Bramble Febreze around the house before opening the door.
"hello, beautiful people." you said as you leaned on your door with a small smile and let them in. "hi, babes." dina replied and hugged you.
you two always hug everytime you see each other, you don't care if you seen each other two hours ago.
"okay, how long y'all gonna hug for? my turn." jesse said and squeezed me. "okay, i can't breathe, jess. i still have to hug ellie!" you told him as he let go and you two just laughed.
ellie was the last person in view as she walked in with a smile on her face. you squealed and hugged her. "hi els." you said softly as you two hugged.
"hi, gorgeous." she said back to you. she'd always call you cute pet names, they made you fold everytime.
you two hugged for 3 more seconds and finally let go. you were so stupid and ashamed that it took you that long to realize how much you liked this girl.
her hair, her laugh, her smile, her beautiful green eyes, her freckles, and just her as a person. she's always there for you when you need her( not saying that the other two aren't) it's just different when it comes to ellie.
you always smile when you see her, it's like her presence just makes your day. you closed the door after her and as she walked away, you just smiled hella hard.
"y/n! what's this?" jesse yelled from the living room. "one second!" you yelled back, knowing he's talking about the Uno cards. you jogged to where they were and turned some music on.
"this is called Uno." you told them. they still looked confused. "ugh, you guys are so oblivious." you told them with a chuckle.
they still looked at you with a confused face. "elaborate, please." dina spoke. i just sighed, knowing this is gonna take a while.
-after explaining for 10 minutes😂-
"you get it, now?" you asked them as they played a round. they all nodded with a smile. "this is lowkey fun." ellie said as she made you draw 2.
"fuck you, ellie." you flipped her off and drew your two cards. she just chuckled and stared at you. you felt her gaze so just looked back at her and made eye contact. you got nervous so just looked away.
she just leaned back with a head tilt, still looking at you but eventually looked away when it was her turn. that made you nervous as hell.
you could tell she was fighting the urge to say 'when'. you didn't know why she didn't just say it. you would've.
after playing a few more rounds, dina and jesse decided to leave, they wanted some alone time.
you and ellie were in your bedroom, watching a movie. you could feel ellie's eyes on you time to time but just ignored it.
ellie then paused the movie. you looked at her confused. "what's wrong?" you asked her, full concern on your face sense she seemed so nervous.
"y/n.. i've been wanting to tell you this for a while now.. i just don't know how to say it." she told you, picking at her nails.
at first you thought, she was gonna say something bad like, 'i don't like you so stop being weird'
"did i do something?" you asked her, scared of her answer. she looked at you lovingly. she then got up to sit exactly next to you on your side of the bed.
your eyes followed her every move, wondering why she looked so scared to talk. "y/n.. i love you. like a lot. more then a friend, even. and i just couldn't hold it in anymore, and it's okay if you don't feel the same, but i hope this doesn't make things awk-"
"can i kiss you?" you asked her, inching closer as she spoke. you two were closer then before. she looked at my eyes and then my lips.
"yes."
