I smiled blissfully, Home.

My legs were sticks as I tried to get home out of the storm. It only got worse, coming harder and harder down, the penetrating, exploding shards of ice that only added to the numbness that already was. Rushing through the forest, the closest pathway home, thorns gnawed on my sweater, gloves, and hat despite my dear efforts to avoid. Darkness clouded my vision as if the day wanted to see my bitter sufferment. Softly I spoke words of encouragement to myself knowing deep down that as hard as I tried to believe, there was a chance I wouldn't even get close. There was no use calling anyone for the ruthless weather blinded my vision and stole the signal. No use calling manually for help either, as much as my efforts exceeded my expectations, my jargon of words was stolen every dreadful time. Caught by the menacing weather leaving me not just inaudible but completely mute. My aching back was begging for mercy to no avail as it continued to get bombarded by countless ice bombs. Sharp pain taunted me as the bitter cold wind whipped my face, as if it poison stained glass that could easily sheer through my open flesh would be less painful. My legs frozen, I summoned every last will to carry on. My love, I had to make it back home. He was as good as dead if I couldn't make it back and give him the medication I carried. I had made it too far to give up. My sweet sweet love, i'll be back, you'll be okay. I promise. Tears strolled down the side of my face stinging the open wounds that were made by thorns only to be tortured by the wind. The pain. The horrible pain. It faded slowly. The snow glew brighter almost...Inhumanly..I was left in a meadow of  thorn-less roses with a sweet voice calling to me. Had I made it? Was I here? A figure appeared in front of me, he seemed to be holding out his hand. Could it be? "Come my love, you are here at last" He spoke. I smiled blissfully. Home.
