Epilogue

After marriage, Karthik and Sowmya had their share of romance like usual couples,faced lot of issues and small fights.

But they made it a point that whatever happens between them stays between them and would not carry issues between them to next day or other person.

Through these misunderstandings they learnt a lot about each other.

They mutually decided to get settled in life before they plan for a child. Initially Karthik was sceptical of taking loans for buying house or car because of his low self confidence and salary.

Sowmya motivated him to overcome his low confidence and made him change jobs for a higher salary. She does not want in any situation for Karthik to feel he is earning less salary and she is dominating him on money matters.

Relatives started questioning and even indirectly scolded Sowmya for being childless for 3 years. At once even Padma had scolded Sowmya to her parents for being childless.

She stated that is the reason they agreed for marrying Karthik even though she is highly qualified and earns more money than him.

Karthik and Sowmya planned to consummate their marriage only in their new house. At the end it is their privacy and did not want to give explanations to others.

So Karthik gave his full support to Sowmya and stood by her whenever anyone insulted her.

Though Padma was scolding and behaving like usual Inlaw in the beginning by taking them to different temples , do poojas for them to get child, even taking them for doctor consultation.

At one point of time, she felt she should not interfere in their personal matters.

Days passed, Sowmya gained a place in Padma's heart by her affection and care towards the family, managing household work and remained adjustable .

Padma could clearly see so many good changes in Karthik after marriage. She felt they are lucky to have Sowmya as part of their family.

3 years later.. Sowmya gave birth to a baby boy and named him Siddharth. The whole family was on cloud nine. Padma spent most of her time looking after Siddharth. She was in full support to her when Sowmya wanted to get back to work again.

Padma and Sowmya had a good bonding over the years. There were times when Padma took Sowmya's side when Karthi shouts at Sowmi.

The level of understanding ,care and affection Karthik and Sowmya had for each other was enormous. Each day passed, their bond became stronger and matured enough to handle misunderstandings.

The youngsters in their relative's group had Karthik and Sowmya as role model and they even expected a girl with qualities like Sowmya as their life partner.

Karthik also took care of Sowmya's family as his own. More than Sowmya he looked after her family, took good care of his mom and her brothers and helped them whenever they are in need.

For any ceremonies that happen either in Karthik's home or Sowmya's home, both the family members were fully involved happily.

Now , Siddharth is 6 years old and going to school. Karthik has resigned his job and has taken a big step in life to study for ICWA. He is entirely new to the Accountancy as he took CSE group in high school.

Sowmya assured him of taking care of the family and his Studies financially to make him completely concentrate on his Studies. She does not want him to be distracted by any means.

His hard work and effort had made him pass all the exams and made him secure a job as a Cost accountant in a big company.

He felt elated and satisfied after marrying Sowmya. He thought about the initial remarks he told about Sowmya before marriage. Now he realised that it is not about the looks , but the character that matters.

One needs to find a life partner who would realise and respect each other's feeling and preferences irrespective of their differences. That level of mutual understanding is what needed to make a best couple.

"Behind every successful Man there is a woman" was an apt quote for Karthik's life.
