Me and Aidan were married for almost 2 years,to be honest the idea of having children was never on our mind,we were always busy working so we didn't really have the time,even tho a day he asked me something.

I was washing dishes,it was afternoon,i grabbed the sponge,placed the dish soap on it and started to scrub it around a plate.
It was quiet until i felt warm hands around me and i giggled,knowing already who it was.

I rinsed the plate and put it away,drying my hands and turning around to face that smiley expression of my husband,i wrapped arms around his shoulders giving him a small kiss.

"hello love" i said smiling,he smiled back. "hi princess..i..i wanted to ask you something" he said looking down with a serious tone and a worried expression.

I got worried.
"what's wrong baby..?" i said placing hands on his cheeks,stroking them with my thumb.

"you know we are 2..so..i wondered" he took a deep breath. "can we have..children?" he said.
My eyes widen,i didn't know what to say,i don't mind children of course.

"oh baby..i dont wanna go trough a pregnancy knowing it would be difficult.." his face dropped sad. "but..we can adopt! So give a home to children that deserves it,we always make a difference,don't we love?" i smiled,holding his chin and looking in his eyes.

He smiled widely again,grabbing my waist snd picking me up hugging me tightly while spinning,i hugged him back tightly very happy,kissing his forehead.

"tomorrow we'll go to the adoption center and see for a boy or a girl we could choose!" he said kissing my lips and i kissed back.

The next day to the adoption center,we were walking with a man that worked here,thanking us to give one of this children at home,we smiled and entered the playroom of the children,were they all had toys and plushies.

They all looked at us.
The man said "Children,Ms. and mr. Gallagher here,want to adopt one of you,so they are gonna talk to you and then chose!" he said and exit the playroom,Aidan went to talk to children while i stood up looking at this one child.

Dark brown hair,green eyes like my husband,playing with a toy car and a silly sweater,i got closer,he didn't get scared but instead smiled,i kneeled down.

"Hi little one.." i said.
"hi Ms!" he said,sitting up to give me his attention,my eyes fell on his toy.

"you got a nice car out there" i giggled and he giggled with me.
"can i ask you why you are here in the adoption center ..?" i said.

"well..mommy and daddy couldn't afford too nuch children,so they put me in for adoption" he said sadly,my heart shattered,but still..my heart told me to get this boy.

My husband saw me and the child,he got closer and started talking to that little fella while i was thinking..i knew i wanted him.

"love.." i said to Aidan.
"yes sweetheart?" he said back,smiling thinking my same idea.
"can we adopt this little one..?" i said looking at the child,he got up and jumped happy. "you want to adopt me!? Oh my god!"

Me and my husband smiled at eachother and nodded.
"yes we want to adopt you..." i extended the "u" not knowing the boy name,taking his hands.

He put his hands in mine.

"i am Nicky."
