I stood in the Platinum Warriors meeting hall. A lot of heroes came to get us, but the stay wasn't long.
"Okay let's get down to business." Said Deceive, silently. "Operetta has attacked the next generation of proteges. The attack was successful, killing about 100 kids. We will strike back and attack her growing army."
"Honestly," I said. "Doesn't this seem a little cliche. I mean, were preteens saving the world. Come on!"
There was complete silence.
"I think she's right." Said Dallas. " We're kids. We're barely teenagers!"
He received hateful glares from all over the room. I mean, who wouldn't? He insulted us, and worst of all himself.
"Listen here you little twerp!" I screamed, breaking the already awkward silence. "We're the best of the best, and the few surviving students in the academy. You don't want your friends to die in vain, do you? They're gone. We will be left to die too if we don't train, now please, shut up and let them contemplate their next attack. Some of their kids died in there. If not, siblings, relatives. Show some respect, please."
At that point, Dallas's chair was floating, and the look of pure shock on his face was priceless. I finally shut him up, and it was worth it. Everyone was getting busy.
