"My goodness" Ms Wilson sighed trying to get Jahmai to stop crying
"Jahmai baby it's okay" she said rubbing his back
"No momma— no"
"Baby it's okay" she sighed
They were driving to bible study and a car honked their horn which triggered Jahmai
"Jahmai listen, it's okay. Everything is okay"
After a while Jahmai calmed down and Ms Wilson continued driving.
Soon they made it to bible study
"Momma i wanna go back home" Jahmai mumbled
His body was still sore but mentally he was tired, all he wanted to do was sleep
"It's not gone be long hunny, i don't want to leave you home by yourself"
Jahmai would sometimes would lose consciousness at random times. They couldn't find out why
Once they pulled up to the church they got out and Jahmai instantly spotted Endya
"Endya"
"Hey Jahmai" she gave him a soft smile
"Hey Ms Wilson"
"Hey hunny" Ms Wilson smiled before she walked inside the church
"Have you been crying?" Endya asked with a small frown on her face
"No" Jahmai lied
"Why you lying? I see the dried up tears on your face my love" she shook her head before smiling at the little girl who ran up to her leg
"Hey babygirl" she said kissing her cheek
"Go inside, i'll be there in a minute" she said putting her on the ground
"Okay Endya" the girl smiled before running inside
"Why you so happy?" Jahmai asked
"What's thats suppose to mean?" Endya laughed a little
"I didn't mean it like that. It's just .. idk you're always smiling. You seem so .. genuinely happy all the time. Your soul .. happy"
"I wouldn't say that. I'm a healing progress but i'll have to thank God for the smile on my face everyday" she said smiling softly
"That's wsp" he mumbled
"Come on let's go inside" she said
"Idk" he mumbled
"Come on, i know it's hard but you're goin to have to eventually come inside"
He didn't want to go back inside the church because all he could think about was seeing Malik in his casket
"And i'm in charge of children's bible study today sooo we have to get goin" she said
The church only had a children's and adult bible study.
Children as in 5-12.
Endya wanted to have a teenage bible study group as well but hardly any teenagers came to church so she was on children's bible study duty which she don't mind because she loved working with kids
