~high school meet up~

7:43 am friday.

the rain. how beautiful the rain looked as y/n rode in the passenger seat of her friends car, fixing her makeup in the mirror as she sighed heavily. she looked over to her friend,

y/n: "how does it look? it seems awful because of your mirror." she laughed as she spoke, her friends mirror was dusty and filled with fog and must.
??: "that's because it does look awful." her friend mocked her y/n's facial expression and laughed along with her.
??: "who are you trying to impress~?" she followed the previous question with.
y/n: "no one, theres no one to impress in this highschool, their all country and emo." you laughed as your friend looked at you and gave you a smirk.
??: "really? what about that h/n guy?" she smiled as you looked at her confused.
y/n: "whos that? ive never heard of him before."

she just looked at you in complete shock, not paying attention to her driving. you snapped at her to make her fall from her trance. she looked back at the road, her expression showing confusion. you continuing your blush as she looks back at you.

??: "are you being serious y/n?" she asked to break up the silence.
y/n: "yes vic! i dont know who h/n is."
victoria: "i think you'll like him, hes real sweet and seems like hed treat you well." she smiled as you gave her a "okay" expression.
victoria: "he should be at this meeting, which here we are."

as victoria parked the car, you got out, swung your bag over your back and walked inside with her, looking at the ground trying to recall anyone with the name h/n. walking in it was pretty silent, with only a few people in the halls as the meeting was after your classes.

victoria: "look! hes over there."

 you looked at where she was pointing and saw a taller man, he looked about 5,9, but you couldnt help but notice how he was acting towards others as he roamed the hall, giving sweet gestures and smiling at everyone he had seen, even if they gave him the finger.

y/n: he seems so sweet." you smiled at victoria as she gave a slight smirk.
victoria: go talk to him! look! hes going into your first period!"

you didnt hesitate to look at the room he was walking in, which was your first class. you started to feel a bit nervous but happy at the same time. you had never met the man, but he seemed to have a effect on you pretty quickly.

victoria: go on! we should get to class anyway, ill see you after!" she waved bye as she ran to her class.

you take a deep breath and walk towards the room, h/n was holding the door for you as you arrived at the door, you looked at him and gave him a sweet smile, him smiling back with his cheeks filling with blush. you both glanced into each others eyes, both getting lost in them. the bell rung and you both snapped out of it and sat at your seats, h/n sitting right behind you.

*middle of class*
you were writing notes and paying attention as you felt a piece of paper hit the back of your head, the paper falling beside your desk. you picked it up, the cover wrote "for y/n, from h/n <3" you turned to look at him and he had his face covered by his textbook, making you giggle a bit. you opened it to..

"hey y/n! i am h/n as you may know and i am just bored and you seem pretty sweet to hang with, i was wondering instead of going to the stupid meeting after the day is over you would maybe want to come over? i know, i know, pretty soon right? you can say no, promise. you just seem really cool to have as a friend and i would love to be your friend."

you smiled as you read the note, looking back at h/n again, his head peering over his book and smiling at you. you never wanted to go to that meeting anyway so of course you accepted the offer.

"hello to you aswell h/n, thank you for the remarks, i could definitely say the same about you, you have a very kind personality and i would love to come over and hang out! just give me your number here and i will call you when i get home! :)"

h/n watched as you wrote on the paper, eager to see what you had written. you threw the paper back at him and gave him a giggle as you watched him struggle to open it. you watched as he read it, his excited expression made you watch the whole time he was reading and smiling at your writing. he grabbed another piece of paper and wrote his number, throwing it back at you as you caught it and gave him a thumbs up, just as the bell rung.

you got up from your seat and started walking towards the door when you felt a pair of hands on your shoulders, holding you back. of course you turn to see h/n, smiling down at you.

h/n: sorry for giving you a scare there, i was just wondering if you would like to skip with me?"
   you gave him a slight hesitant glance but then decided, might as well. he seems really excited to even stand here and talk with me.
y/n: i think i would love to."
   you gave him a smile.

victoria watched as h/n ran with you through the halls and out the front doors, she looked confused but smiled. you and h/n ran through the doors and placed your bags in the back of your car.

y/n: yknow i barely know you so, why did you want me to skip with you?"
  you asked a bit confused but also very curious.
 h/n looked at you with a nervous look, which made you nervous. you started walking with h/n farther from the school into the woods.

h/n: well i dont want to scare you, i promise i wont bite." he smiled, his statement making you scoff and laugh.
h/n: just everyone in that school is either, country, emo or just bleh!" he said, laughing to himself.
y/n: i totally agree with you! everyone there has such bad taste! its ridiculous." 
  you laughed along with him.

h/n: but you y/n, you seemed so nice to talk to, and hang with. you seem like a nice person and i would like to be friends with someone like you."
he smiled.
y/n: thank you h/n... thats so sweet. and i could say the same. i would love to hang with you all the time.
you smiled and flashed your teeth this time, making h/n's cheeks flush red.

you and h/n hung out around the school the entire rest of the day, laughing, talking about backstories and just random conversations. both gathering a liking to each other. soon enough time had gotten way ahead of you two and it was turning dark. you looked at your phone to see 20 messages and 10 missed calls from vic.

y/n: shit!"
   h/n looked at you confused, worried and surprised at the sudden language.
h/n: what happened?"
  he looked at you as you stood from the park bench you two were sitting on and paced back and forth.
y/n vic, she left me here. i have to walk home."
  you looked at h/n shaking his head no, confused you sat back down beside him.
h/n: y/n, i am not letting you walk home by yourself, i can drive you."
   he smiled as you kindly accepted his offer.

you two walked back to his car in the school parking lot, being the only car there. you both hopped into the car and placed your seatbelts over your hips and shoulders. you told him where to go and you had both sat in silence for awhile until you finally broke that silence.

y/n: i had an amazing time hanging out with you today h/n."
  you smiled as h/n looked at you with a confused expression
h/n: really? thats surprising."
  now you looked at him confused.
y/n: why? i find you really sweet and funny."
h/n: just surprising, most people i hang with call me annoying and dont want to hang with me again.
   he smiled, you gave him a saddened look.
y/n: h/n.. thats not alright. your not annoying at all, people just dont pay attention to the beautiful things infront of them.
   you smiled as he looked at you, his eyes quickly tearing up as he pulled into your driveway.
h/n: u-uhm. thank you y/n. i mean really. i think your the first person to take fond of me. to treat me like i have feelings aswell."
   he expressed with his teary eyes welling more and his voice all high pitched and wobbly.
y/n: h/n.."
   you got out of the car and opened his door on the driver side, delivering to him a huge hug, letting him know he was safe with you.
y/n: ill see you tomorrow?"
  you asked with a smile, pulling away from the hug and watching him wipe his tears and put on a smile.
h/n: ill see what i can do."
  he closed the door and waved bye, driving off into the fog of the night.

you walked into your house feeling the happiest you had been in awhile. walking upstairs to your bedroom and showering, changing and lying in bed, soon falling asleep.
