We have been at war with the vampires for as long as anyone can remember. So long, in fact that nobody knows what we are fighting about, but both sides are too stubborn to quit fighting. I am Princess Lilac of the fairies. I must continue this war soon, my arranged fiance tells me that I shouldn't surrender, because it would show the weakness tat all other creatures think we have. My younger brother, Prince Henry, is fighting with the troops. But nothing completely confirms that he will come back to us alive. Some things that you should know about fairies is that we are slightly shorter than the average human. Not that crazy "less-than-one-inch" crud. We are approximetly 5 feet tall, and live in the trees. Not inside of the trees, but in tree-houses in the woods. We do not rely on humans in any way, we make our own clothing, find our own food, and entertain ourselves with music from our own instruments. We can make our wings go inside of our backs to look like humans, if we needed to go into the human world or to decieve an enemy. I was kept under amny guards from the time I was born to keep the vampires from kidnapping and/or killing me. The only reason they would kidnap me, mother said, was because I was too wonderful to keep all to the fairies. I later grew to realize that it had nothing to do with me. I was just a pawn, and my family would give anything for me. They would end the war and give the vampires everything.
"Darling, we have a council meeting soon."
I looked up and saw my perfect fiance. His wings were bright green and his royal garb made him look like he was really from a royal family. His name isn't really Prince Verde of the next forest's tribe, he's a duke. It makes me feel excited to be engaged to someone that isn't a prince. I followed him to the council's room.
"SURPRISE!" Everyone shouted.
It was a surprise engagement party.
This. Sucks.

"Sorry, babe it's just time to let you go." I said. The lady vampire pressed up against my chest.
"But, Alex, baby, you said you loved me." She said. She was really clingy and I couldn't handle it.
"Well, I guess I don't anymore." I said. She started sobbing.
"And I'm Prince Alexander to you from now on."
That's right. I'm the sexy vampire prince, Prince Alexander. Major player, not that I mind the title. The only thing that sucks? I can't even join my own army. I've always wanted to fight the fairies and end this. I just decided that I would run away to the main site, to where most of the fighting was going on. Tomorrow.

This party was boring. All of the same old fairies telling me what to do, how to look, congradulating me. I just wanted my brother here. I decided that I would visit him tomorrow. On the battle field.
