Colonel Sanders had never seen anything like it before. The open-air market was unlike anything he had ever experienced. The air was thick with the aroma of spices, the sounds of vendors shouting, and the occasional bellowing of animals. He looked around, fascinated by the sights and sounds that surrounded him.

As he stood in the middle of the market, he noticed that he was drawing a lot of unwanted attention. His white suit and black tie were a stark contrast to the colorful garb of the locals. It wasn't long before two men in full Roman armor approached him, speaking in Latin.

The Colonel didn't understand a word they were saying, but their stern expressions and pointed spears made their intentions clear. They were taking him into custody.

"Excuse me, gentlemen," the Colonel said, holding up his hands. "I don't mean any harm. I'm just a traveler passing through."

The Romans didn't seem to understand him, and they continued to speak in their native tongue. The Colonel was starting to feel uneasy. He didn't know how he was going to get out of this situation.

Suddenly, a man in a flowing robe and turban appeared. He spoke to the Romans in a language that the Colonel didn't understand, but it seemed to have an effect. The Romans lowered their spears and stepped back.

The man turned to the Colonel and spoke to him in broken English. "You are a stranger here. You must be careful."

The Colonel nodded, grateful for the man's intervention. "Thank you," he said. "I don't know how I can repay you."

The man smiled. "No need for repayment, my friend. We are all travelers on this earth. We must help each other when we can."

The Colonel was struck by the man's words. They resonated with him in a way that he couldn't explain. He thanked the man again and made his way out of the market, feeling grateful for the kindness of strangers.

Dr. Moreau and Doc Brown were huddled around a sleek laboratory, their attention focused on a broken machine that had just sent Colonel Sanders back in time.

"The time-jump overworked the circuits," Doc Brown explained, his voice tinged with frustration. "Sanders is trapped in 1 BC."

Dr. Moreau shook his head. "This is a disaster," he said. "We need to find a way to get him back."

As the two scientists continued to discuss their options, a small ape with a sleek coat and sharp features approached them. He looked up at them with pleading eyes and let out a bellowing cry.

"No!" he shouted. "He's my friend. There has to be a way to get him back."

Dr. Moreau and Doc Brown exchanged a look. They had never seen the ape so passionate before.

Dr. Moreau couldn't help but feel a sense of unease. He knew that Colonel Sanders was on his own, and the thought made him uneasy.

"For now, Sanders is on his own," he muttered, his voice barely above a whisper. "God help him."

Doc Brown looked over at him, concern etched on his face. "What do you mean?" he asked.

"I mean that we have no way of knowing what he's going to encounter out there," Dr. Moreau said. "The past is a dangerous place, full of unknown dangers and hidden threats. We have to hope that he's able to survive."

The ape let out a low growl, his eyes fixed on the ground. He knew that his friend was in danger, and he couldn't bear the thought of him being hurt.

"We'll do everything we can," Doc Brown said, patting the ape on the head. "But it's not going to be easy."
