Cookie Run Kingdom: The Fractured Kingdom

Chapter One

"And make sure to take care of the kingdom." Said Pure Vanilla Cookie, his suitcase decorated with a blue and eggshell white Vanillian pattern. "Don't worry. As long as our friends are protected; there's nothing to fear." Black Raisin said as she rallied her crows together and brought over White Lily's suitcase, which was decorated with emerald green patterns and white flowers.

"We sure will! Bye; Pure Vanilla and White Lily!" Replied one of the raisin villagers as they watched the very cookie who brought salvation to them make way for the airship dock, ready to go on a vacation to see all of Earthbread for themselves. "If only our friends were here to share in this moment, Pure Vanilla!" White Lily Cookie said as she gracefully made her way into the airship with her childhood friend, making sure her white hair didn't get caught in the door. "They absolutely will. I'm sure they're packing just about now." The Vanillian king said as he brushed away a stray hair from his face.

At the same time, in the glistening Hollyberry Kingdom, Queen Hollyberry Cookie was also ready to see Earthbread with her own two eyes. With help from her husband Elderberry Cookie, she had managed to get to the kingdom's airport in time. As her family walked with her to the gates, Hollyberry kissed and hugged her granddaughters. "I'll be back soon, so don't worry." the party going queen said as she moved her luggage aside, all pink with heart designs. "Don't forget to tell us of your travels, Grandma!" Princess Cookie said. "Have... Fun!" Tiger Lily Cookie, her sister replied.

"Don't worry; Holly. The kingdom will be in good hands." Elderberry replied as he bowed to his wife. "Have fun traveling Earthbread, Mom!" her son Royalberry Cookie cheered, with Butter Tiger growling in happiness. "Don't worry! Wildberry's got everything under control as well!" Jungleberry Cookie replied as she handed over a scarf to her mother in law just as the airship docked. "See ya soon, your majesty! And don't forget to say hi to Crunchy Chip Cookie for me!" WildBerry Cookie said as he watched Hollyberry make her way towards the airship. "I sure will!" The Hollyberrian Matron said as she got the last of her luggage into the airship, later sitting next to Pure Vanilla.

In the formerly closed up Dark Cacao Kingdom, the powerful Dark Cacao Cookie was also packing for his vacation to see all of Earthbread. "Do you have everything you need, my love?" ChocoPearl Cookie, his wife asked as she brought over an extra stack of clothes. "Of course, my Queen. Everything but you... But I want you to take care of the kingdom while I'm traveling." the warrior king said as he embraced his wife, who in return planted a kiss on his cheek. "Of course, husband." She said as their son, Dark Choco Cookie, approached. "Stay safe out there, father." He said as he gave his father a side hug. "I'll try." Dark Cacao replied, a slight smile forming on his face.

At that moment, Crunchy Chip hurried over with the king's fully packed luggage, all purple with oriental patterns. "Time to go! That airship isn't gonna wait for anyone!" He said as one of his cream wolves dropped a bone. "We watchers and your Queen will protect the kingdom while you're gone. Have a nice trip, your majesty!" Caramel Arrow Cookie said as she gave the order to open the gates so the royal car could drive Dark Cacao off to the airship dock. "Thank you, Caramel Arrow." Dark Cacao replied as he piled his luggage into the car. Just then, ChocoPearl gave him one last kiss before he fully got into the car. "Come back soon, ok?" She said. "I will." Her husband replied as he got inside the car, and before he knew it, he was in the airship alongside his loyal companions.

Elsewhere, in the glistening Golden Cheese Kingdom, Parmesan Cookie was helping his wife pack for vacation. "Are you sure you will be ok out there?" He asked his wife as he shoved the last of her clothing into the suitcases, all patterned with desert kingdom motifs and colored solid gold. "Of course I am. But I do have one request for you- and that's to take care of the kingdom while I'm gone." Golden Cheese Cookie replied as she allowed her husband to take up all of the luggage they had. "Don't mind if I do, my Queen." he replied as he helped carry all of the luggage to the airship dock.

At the airship dock, one of the Cheesebirds approached the golden sovereign. "Hope you have lots of fun, your majesty!" He said as he gave her a pair of anklets to wear when she was on the beaches. "I surely will. Besides, I want you to look after the kingdom while I'm traveling... promise?" She asked. "We promise!" Said the Cheesebird as he made his way towards his home, announcing the news. But just as Golden Cheese entered the airship, Parmesan kissed her hand. "Be careful out there." He said to his wife as she boarded.

Inside the airship, the 5 heroes chatted up a storm. "So, how has everything been going?" Pure Vanilla asked his four beloved friends. "Thing is, we're actually planning on opening more trade routes to the Cookie Kingdom! Gingerbrave's gonna be so excited!" Hollyberry replied as she displayed her sketches for the potential trade routes to her friend's kingdom. "We're actually reforming rogue bandit groups and welcoming in those outside the walls." Dark Cacao answered. "The Cheesebirds are starting their very own agriculture! I'm so happy to finally see them doing the right thing!" Golden Cheese cheerfully said.

"Those are all wonderful answers!" White Lily said. "And what White Lily and I have been up to is that we're creating a community garden for all desserts, and we're even teaming up with your kingdoms and cookies across Earthbread to create a better place for all." Pure Vanilla explained as he finished his sketches for what he had explained. "That sounds wonderful! They say Millennial Tree Cookie has some of the most gorgeous flower seed mixes! They grow into the most gorgeous blooms when planted- but he only gives them to those who have truly earned it." Hollyberry explained.

"Ok, ok. Questions aside, who wants to decide where to go first?" Golden Cheese replied as she presented a map of Earthbread. The Ancients, knowing they wanted to start with something relaxing then move onto someplace thrilling, unanimously agreed to head straight towards The Tropical Soda Islands. "Tropical Soda Islands it is, then!" Replied the cookie piloting the airship, charting a course for the archipelago. This is gonna be the best world trip ever, thought Pure Vanilla as he relaxed back in his seat and started reading a book. But contrary to what the five heroes thought, that relaxation would be interrupted very soon.
