Chapter 3 [Vorbereitungen!]

Chapter 3

Beep..Beep..Beep..Beep- the alarm is suddenly stopped by a hand slamming on top of it, quickly silencing it. opening her tired eyes, she groggily turns to her side 'just a few more minutes.' she says in her mind.

After a few more minutes of laying motionless in her bed, She comes to a realization. 'Oh shit! oh no! School! I'm gonna be late!!' panicking, she quickly rose up from her bed so fast that she almost fell over, quickly getting her composure back,

She turns over to look at the alarm clock, it's missing, she looks at the floor, observing where she could've possibly dropped it. She frantically searches for it in the next few seconds. she eventually realizes that she is holding it.

She attempts to read the time by focusing her eyes, her eyes are just a bit too tired right now so she can barely read the time, scratching her eyes she looks at it again. 'Oh.. it's 6:10,of course I was being paranoid for no reason!' She complained .

'Oh! and i have a fucking clock just hanging over the ceiling! and I did all that for nothing! oh and i also have my phone– goddammit! why did i not think of these options??'

Victoria proceeds on with her morning routine, taking a shower, breakfast, just what you'd expect.

Victoria checks her wristwatch. '7:40, should be more than plenty of time to walk to school.' she says in her mind.

exiting out of her room, she locks the door, putting the key in her jacket pouch. as she was ready to walk away, she hears a voice shout behind her.

"Hey! Victoria-san!" They shouts getting Victoria's attention, brisk walking towards her as fast as possible.

"Oh Leila! Do you also live in this building?" She asked

"Yep! just a few rooms ahead of you over there! at room 310" Leila replies.

"Oh wow, what are the odds? wanna walk to school together?" She asks.

"Yeah sure! it'd be a pleasure! this'll probably be an everyday thing right?"

Victoria scratches her head. "Ehh, I'm not sure.. I guess so, it's only natural I guess."

"I take that as a yes."

She looks at her wristwatch again. "Ah! It's 7:50 already! We wasted 10 minutes! no more chit chatting! let's go already!" said Victoria, she doesn't give Leila time to respond as she instantly begins to run towards the stairs.

"Ey! Wait up! " shouted Leila as she attempted to catch up to her.

"Aha! try to catch up! I won't be stopping!" She shouts over, teasing her.

The two continue their 'chase', with Victoria in the lead a few meters in front, Leila attempts to catch up to her in vain, reaching the exit of the building, both of them stop, catching their breath.

"Victoria-san please don't do that again!" She pleads, leaning her back on the wall.

"Maybe." She replies.

"Oh, we're here." Leila says as they approach the gate. The two continue walking down the path together, only parting ways to go to their respective classrooms.

"Goodbye! see ya at lunch!"

"You too!"
