This chapter takes place in the eyes of Leon S. Kennedy

The darkest parts of the station were stained in blood. While the groans and screams of the undead echoed down long hallways, Leon continued his journey to discovering the stations puzzles and finding a way to escape out of there.

"You got this." I aimed my Matilda Handgun at the rotting zombies head. Pulling the trigger his brain splattered onto the wall behind him, and his body feel limp to the floor.

Heading up the many flights of stairs I entered into the attic of the station. It was cold and the wind clashed with the buildings brick structure, whistling against it. I pulled the battery from my pocket and held out the C4.

"This is going to be loud." While placing the battery into the back socket of the C4. It beeped before flashing red numbers on its screen "10:00" it said. Quickly I placed the explosive back onto the bars and ran to cover behind some boxes on metal shelves.

The C4 beeped with every passing number as it ticked down to zero. Finally ticking down to that number the C4 exploded casting the dark attic in a flash of white for only a few seconds. I ran over into the cage, to the statue with the last medallion. Pulling out the notebook.

Marvin's bloodied finger prints printed onto the page as if it had been there originally with the notebook. I struggled to decipher the page with the code to the last medallion. The page has been smeared prior when Elliot had the notebook I assume. The quiet attic would whisper with the wind outside. It only added to the dark and on edge feeling you'd get when entering this place. The quietness of the whole place was soon forgotten as screeching echoed throughout the attic.

My body felt a shock of adrenaline knowing exactly what creature could make such a noise. I quickly pulled out my shotgun and flashlight, skillfully holding the two in my hands. My flashlight lit up the dark room. Quietly I stepped out the cage and listened carefully.

The blind creature crawled on the ceiling. Hissing and screeching while it's massive deadly claws dug into the roofs tiles. Finger at the trigger, lining up perfectly my shotgun was ready to blow its head off. Suddenly a zombie lunged out from the shadows catching me off guard. It grabbed ahold onto my left arm, screaming. Stumbling back we toppled over onto the floor.

"Get off!" I shouted as I dug my combat knife into its neck. The Licker shrieked at the loud commotion. I knew my time was limited. Shoving the zombie off of me I pulled out my handgun. It only took two shots for him to go down.

Just before I had thought It couldn't get worse the Licker crawled across the ceiling with alarming speed. It hissed before jumping off from its perch and onto me. Knocking me back onto the floor once again. The disgusting thing trapping me underneath it and the floor. During the fall my shotgun was knocked out of my hands, falling back hitting the ground with a thud. It slid just out of arms reach.

"Damn it!!" I held back the monster with my hands at its neck, pushing its mouth with its rows of teeth away from my face.

"Jesus!! you've got to be kidding me—" I grunted while shoving the Licker away as best I could. It clawed and shrieked at me. Looking back over towards my shotgun I quickly realized it was suddenly gone. Did this thing claw it away? Shit.

My teeth clenched together as I tried to think of anything to get me out of this situation but the only thing I thought of was keeping this monsters mouth away from my face. My heart was pounding and sweat rolled down my face.

The familiar sound of someone cocking back a shotgun was heard seconds before a loud blast boomed through the attic. The Licker cried out in pain before falling lifeless onto me. I grunted rolling its corpse off of me, my chest heaved to catch its breath.

"Holy shit! Are you okay?!" Y/n ran over towards me. He held onto my shotgun tightly, looking afraid and on edge; probably from him running through the station alone.

"I'm okay, thanks for saving me." I groaned as I stood up. Y/n scoffed at me. I looked back at him a little surprised at his attitude.

"I told you not to make me come running to save you!" He said while shoving my shoulder. He seemed genuinely concerned for a moment before his face softened. "Look I..." his eyes glanced up to mine before quickly pulling away to stare at the floor.

Some guilt was in the back of my mind. Hearing his voice hurt like that made this pit grow in my stomach.

"You're right, I'm sorry. Next time I promise I'll be smarter." Him and I stood in front of each other. He seemed to be thinking about what he was going to say, like he was searching for the perfect words.

Shaking his head and sighing. "It's not that Leon. I didn't want you to get hurt. I just got worried...especially when Marvin and I heard that explosion!" He said.

"Of course, I would be worried too. It was brave that you came to rescue me!" I tried to lighten the mood as best I could. Playfully budding against his shoulder. He smiled, just a tiny bit.

"Here c'mon let's get out of here." I said as we walked into the man-made cage together. The floorboards creaked under our weight.

Y/n had his hands still enveloped around the shotgun like it was his lifeline. I looked around his waist for the handgun I had given him earlier. As if he knew exactly what I was looking for he pulled it out from behind him, lifting it up, barrel end pointing down. He raisied his brows before holstering it back into his jeans.

"That's was smart of you to use the shotgun. You're quick on your feet." I looked up at him. He leaned on the cages bars, his shoulders still pretty tense. My eyes wandered down his figure, his body was straight and tight together. His arms glued to his sides and his jaw was stern. Our eyes met looking deep and intensely into one another's. We both tore our eye contact away, my ears felt warm and my heart started to race again.

Solving the code to the statue the metal dragged on its locket as it revealed the final medallion. I tugged it free from its seal it showed little to no resistance. Y/n smiled pushing himself off the bars.

"Good job Rookie" he patted my back. Not removing his hand from resting on my shoulder once he was done praising me.

"Are you my superior now?" I joked with him, smiling as I did. I had the sudden urge to hold his hand that was resting on my shoulder but I held back.

"Well Marvin told me a little more about you. I...asked him anyways." His hand returned back to the shotgun. I felt this yearn for his hand to come back. Looking at him my stomach fluttered, my body heated up, I wanted to hold his hand. It was all such a rushing feeling coming in waves I couldn't control.

"Want to get out of this freaky attic? It's starting to really creep me out" he nervously chuckled while shuffling his way towards the door that led to the Library.

"I'm right behind you." I reassured him as I followed behind. My eyes kept wandering up and down his body as we started to leave. My coat hugging him in all the right places.
