Peace, oh elusive dream
In a world so fraught with strife
A balm to soothe our troubled souls And bring an end to all our strifePeace, a gentle dove that flies
Above the chaos and the noise
It spreads its wings and takes to the sky A symbol of hope, a beacon of joyPeace, a whisper on the breeze
A sigh of relief, a gentle sigh
It calms our fears and eases our pain And lifts us up to the heights of the skyPeace, a gift we all can give
To ourselves, our neighbors, and the world
It starts with love and understanding And grows with each hand that's unfurledSo let us seek the path of peace
And walk with hearts so light and free For in this way we can create
A world where all can truly be
