1 week before the wedding
It was an average day in Storybrooke, mildly warm, partially cloudly, just another Wednesday, Will and Belle were running Mr Golds pawnbrokers store, and had been ever since the inncident that caused Rumple's rushed leave from the small town months ago. Mr Gold no where to be seen and hasn't been for months. Belle and Will we're getting serious and he had even proposed they were to be wed In a week, obviously storybrooke being a small town word travels fast. Word had got back to rumple that his wife was planning a wedding.
Since banished from storybrooke by his wife he'd been exploring the gifts of New York. But rumple couldn't let this go, he couldn't and wouldn't let his wife go with out a flight, rumple acquired some help from his oldest friend Regina to gain access to storybrooke.
She gave him the ice queens scroll to gain access into the town, rumple and been squatting at his lake house for a while, gathering information and scheming ways to make his wife see she loves him. He knew about the wedding and was determined to stop it. He decided to talk to belle and convince her otherwise of her decision.

Mr Gold headed down main street to the shop but on his way he caught a glimpse of belle heading to grannies, so he followed her, belle had sat down is a booth, gold assumed she was waiting for will but sat down opposite her anyway. Belles head rose from the menu and she was shocked to see her husband sitting opposite her especially after she banished him. " rumple" belle said astonished by what lay in front of her "don't marry will" rumple said with a blank, emotionless expression. "Excuse me ? What right do you have to waltz back in here and tell me what to do, none you have no right" belle was frustrated by the cheek of rumple. "I'm sorry, I don't know what to do without you, I tried to find myself In New York but everywhere I went led me straight back to you, I love you belle, take me back" rumple pleaded. "You might love me, but I don't love you, now- get out" belle bitterly hissed. Rumple slowly stood up and walked away, belle remained calm and still in shock. She couldn't believe what she just said, of course she still loves rumple, she doesn't love will, but rumple has hurt her to many times, she can't go back not anymore, it's to painful.

Rumple takes to the whiskey to drown the pain, belle goes home to will and carries on living in a web of happy lies. Regina comes to visit rumple to see how it went but much to her surprise finds him in the bedroom with a young Aurora...
"WHAT the hell !" Regina shouts as aurora manages to quickly wrap a duvet round her and remove her self from rumple. "Regina what are you doing here" rumple says in a very laid back tone. "Well it looks like I'm saving your sorry ass from making a huge mistake" Regina sassily remarked "I won't take offence to that" aurora muffles, "I suggest you go home, and you sober up" Regina declares whilst pointing at them absolutely disgusted by what she just walked into. Aurora gets up, scoops up her clothes and leaves swiftly trying not to make eye contact with a fuming Regina. "Okay, now little miss slut face has gone you can explain your stupidity to me" Regina shouted slapping rumple with his t-shirt she found on he floor "Regina -please calm down, your shouting is causing a headache" "oh I'm causing you a headache, get UP NOW" Regina threw a half filled glass of water that was on the bedside unit over rumple as she dragged him up and threw some clothes at him. She could not quite believe what just happened.  Rumple was hurting, the love of his life didn't love him anymore and it was killing him even if he wouldn't admit it...

The next day...
"We have the dress fitting at 12 today belle don't forget !!" Ruby shouted and she hurried out of their shared apartment to get to work at granny's on time. Belle sighed as she stare in the mirror at her dressing table "what am I doing". Was she doing he right thing by marrying Will? She kept replaying the line in her head, "don't marry Will" "don't marry Will" but what if this meant a happier future what if this meant a new start, a chance to put the lies behind her a chance for a happy ever after with someone as an equal and not a mistake. Belle moved over to bed and flopped back on it, snuggling in to the patch work cushions, "I just don't know" she lay still and silent starring at the ceiling as if it was going to provide answers, as if it was going to draw up a list of all the reasons she should marry Will just to try and convince herself she's doing the right thing. Belle sat up, sighed and stood up, casually slipped on some blue ripped jeans, a casual black vest top and and a checkered shirt that she tied round her waist, she looked casually perfect with a messy ponytail as she grabbed her little black bag and a pair of just right mucked up converse and headed over to the door, "here goes nothing" she said as she anxiously opened the door and discreetly made her way to Mr golds shop...
