Can i trust you?

I woke up in the middle of the night feeling very watched. I got up and walked a bit through the castle.

<Leon>
*Maybe I can find out what actually happened here.*

(Hello, it's Justmestupid22, I wanted to summarize everything that happened in this world that led to a fight. Actually, the humans and the so-called monsters lived together in harmony until the former king made a deal with the keeper of the monsters. The deal was that nobody came out of or into the dark forest. How come? Because the king suspected that the monsters would kidnap and kill his subjects as more and more people disappeared from the city, the same thing happened in the dark forest. The deal was a final decision but a war ensued a long very long war where many died at that time no one but the king and the keeper knew why they were fighting. When Leon turned 14, his parents had told him about the war, and they didn't know where it came from either. When Xander turned 15 his parents told him about it and they said it was because the monsters stole an important stone from them and they broke the deal. Both were firmly convinced that this mystery had to be solved and since Xander is the king's son and lives in the same castle as in the story, Leon wants to find out exactly what happened. Okay, sorry for disturbing you, let's continue with the story :)

<Melina>
"Tell me why are you sneaking around here so scary?"

<Leon>
"I could ask you that too."

<Melina>
"I can do that I will live here soon! You, on the other hand, never will live here because you are homeless and have no money!"

<Leon>
"Can you stop calling me homeless?"

<Melina>
"Why should I? It's true!"

This girl annoys me so much! I just walked past her as she grabbed my arm and looked me straight in the eyes.

<Melina>
"I could have snapped your neck right now, but I didn't want xander to see a corpse! Listen to me carefully, you will never in your life be able to compete with me!"

<Leon>
"Funny, that's what I thought too! Let go or you'll regret it!"

<Melina>
"You won't hit a girl and even if you do, show me what you've got. Monster."

My heart stopped when she said that and she noticed it too.

"What? Don't you see how you look?"

I caught my breath and pulled myself away and looked at myself in a nearby mirror.

*DAMNED! NO! I turned back!*

<Xander>
"What's going on?"

I gave Xander a scared look as he walked into the room.

<Leon>
"Xander..? Please don't.. I just want to go to my family..!"

I couldn't believe this happened to me. I dropped to the ground and started crying until xander came over and hugged me.

"Don't worry. I know that. Melina I will tell you everything in peace."

When I told Melina everything, she didn't look particularly enthusiastic.

"xander! You know what made his kind!"

<Xander>
"That could just have been a white lie! And you know that!"

<Leon>
"xander Everything okay. I'll just go back."

<Xander>
"No! I promised you I would set your parents free!"

<Leon>
"I don't even know if they're still alive. Just let me go."

"Yes, go, monster, before I get the soldiers!"

"Goodbye xander It was an honor for me."

He opened the window. He waved me goodbye and then flew back towards the dark forest.

<Melina>
"Don't worry Xander I told the soldiers everything."

<Xander>
"WHAT?!"

I ran outside where the soldiers were marching with all sorts of things in the dark forest, I ran a detour into the forest to get Leon and everyone else out there.

<Xander>
"LEON! WHERE ARE YOU!?"

When I saw him Leon was lying on the floor. Motionless.

<Xander>
"Leon...?"

I walked closer to him and gently shook his shoulder until I saw the arrow in his stomach.

<Xander>
"Leon..? Leon! LEON! no Please.."

I rolled him onto his back and saw his face completely frozen.

<Xander>
"No..No.. NO DAMIT! LEON PLEASE! I BEG YOU!"

I burst into tears closed my eyes and hugged his lifeless body.
When I opened my eyes again I was bathed in sweat in my bed Leon next to me.

<Xander>
*A nightmare?*

I was relieved that Leon was fine and went to the bathroom.
I washed my face and wanted to go back to bed when Leon stood in front of me.

<Xander>
"Oh leon you scared me."

<Leon>
"Xander are you okay? You look so worn out."

<Xander>
"I'm fine."

<Leon>
"Can i trust you?"

<Xander>
"Yeah sure."

<Leon>
"Before I tell you, I have to say that I don't want to cause any harm. Xander I have to get you into the dark forest."

<Xander>
"What why?

<Leon>
"Promise me you'll keep trusting me."

<Xander>
"okay,i'll trust you."

<Leon>
"I had a deal. The deal was that I would bring the first human I see to my father."

<Xander>
"Didn't you say your parents are in the catacombs?"

I stepped back and began to believe that leon is not who he says he is.

<Leon>
"I was taken away from my real family because they taught me to use a magic far too powerful."

<Xander>
"What does that have to do with me?"

<Leon>
"Xander..I.. .... I can't do this!"

He started crying and literally collapsed on the floor.

<Leon>
"I am so sorry! I didn't mean to put you in there! I have to bring you as an offering to my real father!"

I didn't want to believe it but it was true he started crying more and more and I felt sorry for him.

<Xander>
"You don't have to do that, we'll find a way together, I promise!"

<Leon>
"I know but I just can't do it myself!"

<Xander>

<Leon>
"I can not! every person i like that i've learned to love. i can't hurt them!"

<Xander>
"ok i understand that Come on, let's sleep for a night and then we'll talk about it calmly, okay?"

"Okay."

Poor boy. He just wants to live his life normally. I will help him 100%!
