New Beginnings

Surprise sweetheart!

Nikki walked around her house, pacing. She was nervous to tell everyone and scared of what they'd say. She changed into sweatpants and a tee. The doorbell rang and she opened it to see her family and John.
Nikki smiled, "Hey guys come in!" She moved out of the way and let everyone in. John was last to come in and she kissed him, "I missed you." She noticed his big grin and she shook her head. He was so childish, how could she love that? She somehow did. She told everyone to sit down and sat in the front of the room.
"Well, uh, I don't know how to say this any other way but...." She tucked a strand of hair behind her ear and sighed. She looked straight at John and said, "I'm pregnant." She looked at all of their faces and smiles crept over them. Everyone stood up and ran over to hug her, even Ethan did. John was last to hug her and he kissed her cheek. "This is great! I'm going to be a father."

John didnt know what to do. His hands were clammy as she said the news. He faked a smile, he's totally happy but he was nervous. He didn't want to disappoint Nicole or the new child. He hugged her and looked at Ethan who tapped his shoulder. "Hey bud!" The little boy had a serious face, "We need to talk." John tried not to laugh and followed the boy into the dining room.

Ethan: "I know that you're the father."
John looked at him puzzled, "And?"
Ethan: "I will hurt you if you ruin my aunt or my cousin's life. She's been through hell and I love her."
John looked shocked that a boy of that age would say that and be so protective. He agreed though, he'd never want to hurt her again. John watched as Nikki came in and hugged Ethan.

Nikki: "Hey my two favorite boys!"
Randy: "Hey!"
John watched as Randy and Brie walked in, his ️Comment making Nikki laugh. John hugged Nicole and looked at Brie who gave him a death stare. "Yes, I am the father." Nikki laughed and held his waist. "He is." Brie nodded slowly before looking up at Randy.

Nikki noticed her sister tense up and look at her husband for reassurance. "Brie, will you go to the doctors with me?" She saw her twin smile brightly.

Brie: "Are you serious?!"
Nikki laughed and smiled, "Yesssss! Of course Brianna!"
Brie: "Yay!" They both jumped up and down, their smiles so big.
Mia cried and reached for Nikki. Nikki looked down on her and smiled, "Oh CutiePie!" She picked her up and rocked back and forth. "Don't cry." Mia held onto her, not letting go. Brie laughed. "Someone doesn't want Auntie CoCo to leave her." Mia just cried into her shirt.

'Later that day'
Nikki climbed in bed, her robe enveloping her body and keeping her warm. She put the tv on, laid her head on the pillow and watched ENews. She watched her boyfriend take her stuff and pack it. She was going to move in with John tomorrow and keep this house for needed times. John took a break and looked at Nikki. She sighed, feeling bad that they had to rush a tiny bit since a little baby would be here soon. She wanted to go to the doctor and called, she made an appointment for tomorrow also.

John: "Babe, I'm nervous but really glad we're having a kid. After the kid you can come back to WWE and it'll be fun!"
Nikki smiled at the thought, "Promise me you'll get me into shape right after the baby?" She looked at his big grin and his dimples.
John: "Of course I will. You'll be even more beautiful." This comment made her blush and she looked at the tv screen. She sighed a long and deep sigh. "I hope I'm a good mom, I don't want to disappoint our kid."
John: "You won't, don't worry Nicole."

They both drifted off in a deep sleep. Nicole had a dream of waking up to no one there. She was by herself. She ran downstairs and saw blood everywhere. There was a pain in her stomach, she put her hand over it. She felt her hand become wet and looked at it. There was smeared blood all over her hand, she laid on the floor crying. She awoke up and started breathing heavily, fighting for air. It was a dream. Thank god.

John slept that night, holding Nikki close to him. He felt her move and panic. He held her tight and whispered in her ear, "It's ok, you're fine. I'm here." She calmed down and finally went to sleep. He dreamt of being held at gunpoint. It was Randy, who was holding the gun. Nikki was behind him and crying. Randy yelled at John, "You hurt her again?!" Brie was glaring and looked at Randy, "Now." He shot John and they held Nikki back who tried to run to him. He gasped, it felt so real. He knew that it would never happen but it scared him. He loved her so much. Too much for that to happen.
