New Beginnings

The Day Has Come❤️

On July 1, both Christopher and Adrian Cena were born. Adrian weighed 7.3 lbs and had his mother's eyes. While Christopher weighed 8.5 lbs and had his father's eyes and dimples.

Nikki fell asleep right after the nurses took the boys away to clean them up. She didn't see them at all, barely being able to keep her eyes open. She dreamt of getting married to John and that they'd be together even when Malik and Aidan we're going to college. She couldn't wait for them to go, become somebody in this world that makes a difference.

John watched as Nicole slept. Even after having kids, she was beautiful. The new father held his two sons, smiling at both. Adrian was such a quiet small baby whilst his brother was fussing and chubby. John teared up and blinked the tears away when his two older boys walked in. The boys, both now 13, were happy that Nikki was with their father, it brought the good side of him to come out more often.

Malik was now a tall muscular basketball player, best in his school and was in excelled classes. He was very popular and had a girlfriend, who was also 13.

Aidan was tall and muscular too, mostly in his legs though. He was in track and won first place many times In State. He was also in excelled and won many awards. Not only was he the best player in hockey, he was the School President. He didn't have a girlfriend which was fine with him, he was only 13 and girls were too bossy.

John watched as the two held the babies, Aidan was holding Adrian and Malik held Christopher. It seemed funny, Adrian was like Aidan and Christopher was like Malik. He smiled as they looked at Nicole.

Nicole woke up, she felt eyes on her. She looked to see Malik and Aidan holding the twins. In a raspy voice she said, "I see you've met your new brothers." She smiled.

Malik: "Christopher is hilarious!"
Aidan: "Adrian seems like a sweet little guy."
John: "They're like mini-mes of these two."
Nikki looked at John and cried, "We did it."
John: "Yes we did sweetheart."
Nikki cried into his chest but stopped when Aidan pushed John off her.
John: "What was that for?"
Aidan: "I wanted to know if she's breastfeeding! So, 1. The kids are hungry and can be fed and 2. I can take the warning and leave."
Nikki nodded, "Hand them over and go outside for a bit." She put a blanket over the twins and allowed them to feed off her breast milk. She noticed something strange, John wasn't himself.

"What's up with you J?"
John: "Well, about 3 weeks ago, Aidan told me he was bisexual."
Nikki nodded, "And what's the problem?"
John: "As much as I prove gays, I don't want my kid- my son- to be a gay."
Nikki rolled her eyes, "It's his choice!"
John: "I know, I know- but still."
She looked at him and sighed, holding the now asleep twins. "Don't do anything bad to him."

'Next Day'
John awoke at 4 am to Christopher crying, he rolled away off the bed from his wife. Sleepily, he walked into the nursery and held Christopher. He looked up hearing a noise, it was Aidan. "Hey son."

Aidan looked down, "I heard you talking to mom."
John looked away, "Ya, I'm sorry..."
Aidan: "If you can't respect who I am then I'm not sorry. It's not like I'm gonna go date a guy right away! I just don't know what gender I like really."
John shook his head trying to understand, "I'll support you but It will be hard to understand."
John watched as his son held Adrian and both fell asleep on the rocking chair. Once Christopher was in his crib, John crawled into bed with Nikki, held her, and closed his eyes.

Nikki woke up and felt John's heavy arm around her. She groaned and pushed him off her, looking at the time- 11 am. She sighed and turned over to John and kissed his nose. "Morning sleepy." She laid her head on his chest and closed her eyes to think when Malik and Aidan came running in with the twins.

Malik: "It's so pretty out! We've took care of them, can we go outside now?"
Nikki looked as they laid the twins next to her. "Sure but don't go to far, take your phones and be home by 12:45. Now go on."
Malik&Aidan: "Thanks mom!"
She smiled as they kissed her cheek and ran out.

Christopher opened his eyes and looked at his mom, Adrian stretched out his baby arms and began to cry. Nikki held them close to her and began to cry. She heard the pain in Adrian and recognized it a little too well. She had to take him to the doctor....
