Today is Wednesday, aka the day I'm going to San Diego. I'm so excited I could barely even sleep last night so I'm up since 7 am and already started to pack my suitcase. I have to be at the airport at 1 pm with the rest of the people. I'm just about to start making some breakfast when I hear my doorbell. I go to open the door and to my surprise, it's Emma standing right in front of me.

"Hey, what are you doing here?" - I ask as I step aside to let her walk into my apartment.

"I came to help you pack or just to keep you some company before you go" - She replies while walking into the kitchen.

"Oh you're so sweet, thanks" - I tell her and kiss her softly.

Emma and I have been on a couple of dates now and she is great but I just don't think we have that spark. I have been thinking about telling her about how I feel but I just never had the perfect moment. I don't know if we are even in a relationship.

"You didn't eat yet?" - She asks as she looks around in the kitchen.

"No, I was just about to make some pancakes."

"Let me, so you can pack your thing until I finish." - She replies with a smile.

After we ate breakfast I finished packing and it was already time to go to the airport. I arrive and I walk inside the huge building, trying to find Lucy and Elena. After some time I finally see them with the rest of the group so I go to them and give both a short hug.

"I can't believe we'll be there soon" - Elena says with huge excitement in her voice.

" I know, me either." - I tell them before Emma arrives next to me.

"Oh Emma this is Lucy and Elena, girls this is Emma my...uh we have been dating for a while." - I introduce them even though I don't know what to call Emma.

"Hi it's nice to meet you" - All of them say to each other and shake hands.

Before we could start talking, William said we have to start going through security and all the boring airport stuff. I say goodbye to Emma and give her a passionate kiss at the end.

After what felt like an eternity I'm finally in my seat next to the window trying to get comfortable.

"Oh hell no" - I hear the familiar voice from next to me so I look up.

"Please tell me this isn't your seat" - I look at Rhea who is holding her ticket, checking if the numbers are correct.

"No way, you take your stuff and go" - She tells me while putting her bag on the seat.

"I go? I was here first so maybe you go"

"Go where? The whole plane is full!" - She asks as if she just didn't tell me the same thing seconds ago.

"Then where the hell am I supposed to go?" - I ask clearly confused.

"I don't care" - She says, shrugging her shoulders.

"Well that's just too bad for you" - I reply.

For a couple of seconds, none of us say anything until people start getting mad because they can't get past Rhea.

"Could you just sit down already? There are people trying to get to their seats." - I tell her and to that she looks around and sees I'm right so she does as I say.

"You better not talk to me during the flight" - She tells me with the same annoyed tone.

"I wasn't going to" - I reply and I turn my head to the window.

The plane finally took off and I was about to start watching a movie when the black-haired woman next to me started speaking.

"Your little incident with your date was really embarrassing I might add"

"What are you talking about?" - I ask her confused.

"Not knowing what to call your girlfriend...or well...the girl you had a couple of dates with" - She says the last part in a mocking tone then turns her head to look at me.

"Yeah well, she isn't my girlfriend so..." - I say a little sad because I really don't think it's gonna work out with Emma.

"So what?" - She asks as if she would care.

"So what happened with not talking to each other?" - I ask her to change the subject because I don't feel like talking about my relationship especially not with Rhea.

At the end of my question, I turn my head to look at her but I didn't know she was still looking at me so now our heads are extremely close to each other. I don't say anything and I also don't turn my head away for some reason and she does the same. I look into her sky-blue eyes but they are not angry anymore, it's that different look again. The look I'm not familiar with. She is looking into my eyes too but for a second she looks down and then back up. Did she...did she just look at my lips? I ask that question from myself but still not moving. We stayed like this for only just a few seconds but it felt like minutes. She then realizes how close we are so she turns her head away and I do the same. I look out the window and let out a breath I didn't know I was holding in.

"I was just trying to be nice but whatever" - Rhea says with an annoyed voice.

"You nice? Haha, the best joke I heard today" - I copy her tone then turn my head toward my movie.

She doesn't say anything she just puts her earphones in and starts listening to her music while I watch the movie Spin me around. I wanted to watch it for a while now because I love Aubrey Plaza.

"Hey, Y/N." - I hear Rhea's voice getting louder and louder as I open my eyes. That's when I realize that I fell asleep and not that I just fell asleep but that my head was on Rhea's shoulder. I quickly sit up and look at the woman sitting next to me.

"Oh, sorry" - I say in my tired voice.

"I knew you liked me but I didn't know you liked me this much Y/N" - Rhea says with a smirk on her face.

"I don't like you, you...just have a comfortable shoulder" - I tell her while I put my hoodie on the wall of the plane so I can put my head on it.

"When did I fall asleep?" - I ask Rhea.

"Just after the 2 women in your movie made out on the street" - She replies then starts standing up from her seat.

"You were watching the movie?" - I ask as I look at her.

"No, I just...looked there and saw it, and then your head was on my shoulder." - She tries to explain herself before walking to the bathroom.

I look at the screen in front of me and I see that it's only 1 more hour until I'm there. After some time Rhea comes back and sits down next to me.

"So how did you like the movie?" - I ask her Immediately.

"I wasn't watching your stupid movie" - She says a little bit annoyed.

"Then how did you like the kiss scene? Because you just said you saw that. - I say with a smirk on my face.

"It was fine" - She says with no emotion at all.

"Fine?? It was amazing." - I say with disbelief in my voice.

"You're gay so, of course, you think that"

"Yeah but most straight girls kissed at least one girl so you can easily say an opinion about it" - I say but get no response for a few seconds.

"Oh my god!" - I say with shock in my voice.

"You never kissed a girl have you?" - I ask while turning my head to look at her.

"No and why is that such a big thing?" - She asks clearly confused.

"It's not, it's just that all my straight friends kissed girls just to try it out or because they were drunk."

"Well, your friends are as idiots as you are. Now leave me alone." - She says with an angry voice so I do as she says even though I really wanted to continue this conversation.
