I had been on the streets for months now, and I was determined to get back on my feet. I started by trying to find a job, but it was harder than I thought. People didn't want to hire a homeless woman with no experience or references. It was frustrating, but I didn't give up.

One day, I met a man who seemed kind and offered me a job at his restaurant. I was hesitant at first, but I needed the money, so I agreed. At first, everything seemed fine. I worked long hours, but I was grateful for the opportunity to earn a living.

But then things started to change. The man began to make inappropriate comments and touch me inappropriately. I tried to ignore it, but it only got worse. He started to demand more from me, saying that I owed him for giving me the job. I was trapped, with no one to turn to for help.

It was then that I discovered that he was part of an illegal gang that trafficked women for sex. I was horrified, and I knew I had to get out. But they threatened me, saying that if I tried to leave, they would hurt me and my family. I felt trapped, like there was no way out.

Days turned into weeks, and weeks turned into months. I was forced to endure the abuse and the torture, all while trying to keep up appearances at work. I was afraid to ask for help, afraid that no one would believe me, or worse, that they would turn me away.

But then, one day, I found the strength to run away. I didn't have a plan, I didn't have any money, but I knew I had to escape. It was a risk, but I took it.

I ran and ran, not stopping until I was miles away. I was exhausted, but I was free. I knew that I still had a long way to go to rebuild my life, but at least I was out of that nightmare.

The road ahead was tough, but I was determined to keep going. I knew that I was stronger than I thought, and that I could overcome any obstacle. It was time to start living my life on my own terms, and to never let anyone take advantage of me again.
