Jasmine was suspicious, but she accepted the offer. Something wasn't adding up.

YaKami kept changing the station until he stopped to a song called "Control by Halsey."

He had a smile on his face.

"This was my favorite song, but music holds so many memories, and mine are tied with my girl."

Jasmine smiled as this song was one of her favorites too.

She put her hand on his arm and said, in a calm voice, despite her crippling fear:

It's okay. You will find your daughter.

she s gonna be okay

How did she go missing?

He replied in a sad voice.

"I woke up one day and she had gone missing from her room.

We had a fight the night before.

But I wanted to give both of us time to cool off and wanted to talk to her in the morning.

I woke up and she was gone.

and I fear for my girl.

I looked for her at her favorite place.

and her friends' house

at her boyfriend's

and her usual places

but nothing"

"Maybe she ran away," said Jasmine.

and to her surprise, the old man didn't have a sad look or was angry.

He had a relaxed smirk.

but he hid it faster than she could have noticed.

"Her mother passed away four years ago, and since then she has been blaming me for everything.

All I hope is that she is okay.

I couldn't contact her friends in the state, but I've been going there from time to time looking for her to no avail."

Jasmine "Is this your daughter?" as she reached her hand toward a small picture on the glass.

but the man caught her hand so fast that her face turned pale.

Fear struck down her spine.

and he said in a pissed voice, "I'm sorry, but that's the only picture left I have of her.

I was absent as a father figure, and I regret it every second. I am sorry I grabbed your hand so suddenly.

It was a forced reaction.

Take a look at the picture. Just put it back there."

As he unlifted his hand from her arm and his finger got printed on her skin, she felt relieved.

She looked at the picture and saw a blonde, pretty girl with blue eyes, him, and a strange female.

Because it was burned, she couldn't see.

Jasmine and her Yakami kept driving to the nearby town when they heard the news about the kidnapper's nickname on the radio.

They listened as the reporter described how the kidnapper would always kidnap on the 13th of every month and leave a note on the bed of his victims with the words "I am K...

But Yakami changed the channel in anger, his veins on his hands were about to pop off as he almost had the strength of a bear.

She was afraid... but at the same time she fantasized: How can this wild beast hunk of a man devour her? How can he pull off the buttons from her blouse with his teeth?

how he can rip her clothes to shred

How can he pin her down to a wall and almost break her in half?

His feat of strength turned her on.

and her body started reacting accordingly.

Something about his power is unresistable.

How can this beast destroy a strawberry such as herself?

He would probably make jam out of her after he is done.

She started sweating and held both hands on her legs.

She tried to cross them.

But Yakami noticed something as he asked, "Are you okay, sweetheart?"

These gentle words.. made her mind go blank.

She wanted him so bad, but she never knew how she could have him.

plus his daughter is missing. How can she think of such a thing?

She was embarrassed.

She blushed as tears dropped from her eyes.

Yakami was worried and stopped the car, and he asked with a soft voice, like he was talking to his own daughter, "Are you okay? Why are you crying? What's wrong? you hurt?" as she wiped the tear from her eyes.

"I... have something.. I know its unorthodox, but... its your choice,"  Yakami said, pointing to the glove box. "There is a blunt over there. It's medical. It will help me relax after what I've gone through my years in the army... you can have it."

As Jasmine took a puff from the blunt, she felt her worries melt away, replaced by a warm and fuzzy feeling. The old man hummed a tune to himself as he drove, occasionally glancing at Jasmine and offering her a smile.

The world outside was a blur of colors, and Jasmine watched as the trees and houses flew past her in a hypnotic trance. She felt as if she were floating on a cloud, disconnected from reality.

The old man's voice suddenly pulled her back to the present.

"So, what brings a pretty young lady like you to these parts?" He asked, his eyes fixed on the road.

Jasmine shrugged, feeling oddly comfortable in his presence. "Just traveling," she replied, her voice sounding distant even to her own ears.

The old man nodded, a small smile playing at the corners of his lips. "Ah, I see. Well, you've certainly come to the right place. This town has a lot of secrets, you know."

Jasmine's curiosity was piqued, and she leaned forward, eager to hear more. "What kind of secrets?" she asked, her eyes widening in anticipation.

The old man chuckled, glancing at her out of the corner of his eye. "Oh, just the usual kind. Dark alleys, hidden doors, and strange characters lurking in the shadows. But don't worry, I'll keep you safe."

As he spoke, Jasmine noticed a glint in his eyes that made her feel uneasy. She tried to shake it off, telling herself that she was just being paranoid. But as they drove deeper into the town,

She couldn't help but feel a growing sense of dread.
