FROZEN TEARS

"Time for supper you two," G's mother said walking into the bedroom. I rubbed my eyes groggily and pulled away from G. He opened his eyes and sat up! He stretched his muscles flexing as he did so! I discreetly stared at my mate while he stood there. It seemed that maybe I wasn't so discreet because he gave me his best smirk after that. I smiled at him and decided to play innocent.

"What are you smirking at?" I smiled sweetly.

"Oh the fact that my mate was staring at me!" He shot back quickly.

"Umm unless you have another mate I think you're dreaming!" I retaliated.

"Oh love you must be kidding about the other mate or me dreaming because if I was dreaming you wouldn't be so far away from me," he chuckled and pulled me closer towards him!

"You know schools over in 8 days!" I smiled staring up at him!

"I know! Then we can spend time together, or you can sit in my office while I do alpha stuff!" He smiled down at me! We walked down the stairs together and into the kitchen! His mom sat at the dining table with a small smile playing across her features. I sat down in my designated spot and G sat beside me. There was a casserole on the table that I was ready to devour. My stomach growled at the smell of the amazing food. My cell phone rang and G glared at me, I looked at the caller ID and my heart dropped, it was Candy. 

"I'm sorry I have to take this, it's Candy," I mumbled pressing the answer button and holding the phone to my ear, I left the dining room and stood in the living room before I said anything. 

"Hello?" I spoke 

"Oh my goodness Cinder, I cannot take it, do you think that they would have a room for me? Our parents will not stop me from seeing you, they can't you're my sister!" Candy ranted 

"I can ask and see if they would let you stay here for a while," I replied. 

" Thank you so much Cinder, I miss you so much, I can't handle this, our parents are crazy!" She yelled into the phone. 

"I'll let you know what they say in like an hour, sound good?" I asked. 

"That's perfect, talk to you later Cinder, miss you," Candy said before hanging up. I walked back into the dining room and looked at them. 

"Candy needs to get out do you think she could stay here for a few days?" I asked. 

"Of course whatever she needs, let her know right away, I'll go prepare a room," G's mom said standing up quickly from the table. She ran out of the room and up the stairs. 

"THANK YOU!" I yelled after her.  I heard a mumble in response before I sat down and continued eating. The food settled my hungry stomach. G wrapped his arm around my shoulders and gave me a kiss on the cheek. He was going to be the death of me. I leaned over and pressed my lips to his for a quick peck. I pulled away with a satisfied smirk on my face. I called Candy and let her know she had a place to stay. 

"Thank you so much!" She told G's parents over and over again once she had arrived. They just smiled and brushed it off like it was nothing, to them it might have seemed like nothing but to her it was everything, when somebody helped Candy there was no way she was going to let anybody hurt them after that, she couldn't stand it. If this pack ever got attacked they would be the safest pack in the whole world. Candy could make everything turn on anyone and it was freaky. Although my power was more death and destruction, Candy could make everything around you want to kill you. It's frightening to think about. 

8 days later. 

"I cannot believe we are done school, for now anyway," Candy smiled giving me a hug. I leaned into G's side and sighed in content, this is where I belonged. 

"You know I take over the pack in two days which means you will become Luna which also means you will meet the rest of the pack," G told me kissing my mark, after a lot of begging I finally let him mark me and we completed the mating process. Do you know how weird it is that I can hear his thoughts and he can hear mine, I mean it's crazy it's like there is another person in your head!

"I know I'm nervous though, what if they don't like me?" I whispered. 

"Trust me they will like you, I don't know how anybody can't like you," G replied kissing my lips. I smiled into the kiss and let my problems dissipate. 

"I love you G," I murmured to him. 

"As I love you Cinder," He responded!
