A little crush

Last night was all just a blur . One second he was here the next he was gone and now he was back I'm so confused.

"Hey" I said to her very cheerfully

"Hey Sammy" she said back with a fake smile on her face. What's wrong? Is she hurt? Did I do something? All these things kept running through my mind. I decided to forget about it for now.

"Can we talk?" I asked her and she looked at me with fright in her eyes

"Y-y-yes" she said with a shaky breath nervousness in her system

"Are you ok?" I asked her

"No" she said and started crying

"Aww honey what's wrong" she just kept crying

"Did someone hurt you" she shook her head yes

"Who was it" I. Said anger boiling inside me but I pretended to be happy for her benefit

"Umm it it it was d-d-devon" she said with a raspy breath

"What did he do to you"i said calmly even tho I wanted to kill him

"He punched me and kicked me and told me to die and I considered it" she cried

"I'm going to beat him up how long has he been doing this to you" I asked her
She laughed at the first part but got sad at the last part.

"Everyday after school" she said calming down a bit

"Why haven't you told me?" I asked confused

"I didn't want you to worry" she said

"Aww baby is there anything else you need to tell me"i asked her and then she pulled up her sleeves and then i saw them.

"I'm sorry I just can't help it" she had fresh cuts that looked like they were from yesterday.

"What would you do if I broke up with you" I asked her

"I would slap you and ruin your life" she said sternly

"Wait... Are you leaving me!!" She said and started to cry

"No no no no I just wanted another reason to stay with you forever" I said to her and she just smiled and fell asleep

"Wake up we have school in an hour!!" I said to her

"Ugh no let me sleep" she said rolling over

"No way now get you lazy stick figure"i said laughing

"What did you call me?!?!" She said while laughing

"A stick figure" I said with a smile

"Thanks" she said with total sarcasm in her voice

"Why don't you like school" I asked her

"Because of devon" she said

"I'm so sorry" I said

"It's ok you can't control him" she said

"I know but I wish I could" I said then I remembered the present I got her

"Hey I got you something" I said

"Aww what is it" she ask smiling

"Well first I need to tell you something" I said nervously

"Well last night when we both slept on the couch someone came over and took a picture of us and posted it on Twitter. They put the caption as 'look at these two love birds having a sleepover. Awwww so glad they are dating now' and it was someone popular so now everyone knows. They commented on it bad thing like 'they shouldn't be together Sam is mine' or 'I have dated that girl for 5 years and she said she loved me but she is just a heartbreaker'. Is that part true? I thought I was your first boyfriend?" I said
