Y/n POV:

I woke up feeling dizzy, sat up on the small mattress on the floor, making some dust fly out of it. I coughed a bit and stood up.

Noises could be heard, glass breaking and some yelling.

"Shit..."

I walked downstairs calmly, seeing my parents arguing again. I took one more step and yelped.

"Ouch!"

It was hurting a lot, I lifted my foot to take a look at it. A small piece of glass was cutting it, making some blood ooze out of the wound.

I sighed and took the small piece out of my skin, hissing at the feeling.

"Look what happens when you two argue ! I have class today ! Did the damn boxes arrive ??? I'm tired of sleeping on that dirty mattress."

Their heads turned to look at anywhere else but me. My mother approached me and spoke with her gentle tone.

"Look...I'm sorry but they said they'll arrive soon"

I sighed.

"It's okay..."

I noticed my dad going to collect the pieces of the broken glass he probably threw earlier, I stopped him.

"No !!! Wait !"

I stumbled toward the glass and took my phone out of my pants. I looked at the shattered pieces and this one piece with my blood on it.

I took a quick picture and named it 'me in society'. My mom grabbed me and made me sit on the couch, lifting my foot to take a look.

"Aish...How can you not be screaming right now ??"

I shrugged it off.

"Well I just don't. It hurts but I don't scream and that's it"

She sighed and took her pocket's aid kit to heal my wound. I hissed when she used alcohol and and bit my tongue to ease the pain.

She bandaged it completely and let go of me.

"you can run away now little lamb"

I jumped off the couch happily and stopped when I saw my dad grab a can of beer, remembering how was my life suddenly. I went upstairs, my head hung low.

Entering my room again, I grabbed some clothes angrily and changed myself. I took my backpack and got out of the house, waving at my mother and then turning to the road.

"Okay...Let's go"
