Follow the Lincoln:

It all started with Lana finding an abandoned bird egg in the backyard and bringing it inside the House. We cut to the inside of her and Lola's room, where she has the egg wrapped around a blanket and showered it in a heat light borrowed from Lisa. To learn more about what kind of egg she's hatching Lana is on her bed reading a book about different kinds of birds and how to take care of them. She soon finds out that she has the egg of a baby duck.

Lana: "Cool!"

She also learns the first thing a baby bird sees believes to be its parents and follows them around everywhere.

Lana (Scratches her chin): "I wonder what that will be like? Being a little duckling, following someone I love around, snuggling up when it gets cold." (Gets an idea): "Hey!"

After some rummaging through her and Lola's shared box of costumes. Lana is now dressed as a little duckling, with everything from a fake bill tied around her face, and web feet to feathers all over her body.

Lana (Flapping her wings happily): "Peep! Peep! All I need now is my ducky caregiver."

But she didn't have to look far, as she sees her older brother, Lincoln passing by her room.

Lana (With a smile): "And there he is!"

And that is how Lincoln is now being followed by a little duck that looks and sounds like his sister.

Lincoln (With a raised brow): "Lana?"

Lana: "Peep! Peep!"

Lincoln: "Yeah..." (Gets on and rides the stair-rail down): "See you later."

But to his surprise, Lana beat him to it and was waiting for him by the end of the stairs.

Lana (Hugs her brother's leg): "Peep! Peep!"

Lincoln (Tries to get free): "Rrr..."

Lana (Feeling comfy): "Mmmmm..."

Lincoln (Gets an idea): "Oh..." (Plucks a feather from Lana's costume and used it to tickle her exposed neck): "Is little ducky ticklish?"

Lana (Tries to hold back her laughter): "Pff!"

Lincoln (Tickles faster): "Come on...can I get a little ducky laugh?"

Lana (Burst out laughing): "Hahahaha..."

Lana is laughing so hard that she lets go of her brother's leg and falls on her back, still giggling in delight. This gives Lincoln the chance to get away. But no matter where the boy goes, Lana Duckling is there too. Even when he took a swim in the family's swimming pool with bubbles to scare her off. Not only his little sister is in the pool but is swimming like a duck.

Lana (Uses her wing to splash her brother): "Peep! Peep!"

Lincoln (Looks up at the reader): "And I thought she hated bubbles in the water."

Pretty soon Lincoln had to give up. He then finds himself back in Lana's room, sitting on the floor, gently stroking her hair, while she is fast asleep using his lap as a pillow. Until he hears a cracking sound.

Lincoln: "Huh?"

He turns to see the egg starting to hatch.

Lincoln (Nudge his sister a bit, while whispering): "Lana..."

Lana (Starts to wake up): "Wha..." (Sees what's happening): "My egg starting to hatch!!!"

Lincoln: "Shhhh!"

The two get up and make their way to witness the miracle of birth...at least for a baby bird. And bursting out of its shell-like prison is a white, fluffy, orange bill healthy duckling. Opening its eyes to see the world for the first time. And the first thing it sees is...Lincoln?!

Duckling: "Peep! Peep!" (Jumps onto Lincoln's head): "Peep! Peep!"

Lana (With a big smile): "Aww! The ducky thinks your it's daddy Linc. Now you have two ducklings to look after."

But this causes the boy to faint and lay unconscious on the floor. While the two little ducks waddle around him, peeping up a storm.
