Robins POV

I can't believe I just finished smoke signals! I'm so happy! I should invite my friend over so we can listen to it together! I hope she'll be able too, we haven't talked in a while..

🍋: Hey Lils! It's me Robbie, I was wondering if you would like to come over and listen to my new song with me 😊

🫐: Oh hey Robbie! Why not, I'll be over after work.. Say about 6:30pm?

🍋: Yeah! Sound great, See you then! Sending hugs

I can't wait to see her.. I missed her so bad.. As I thought about her perfect face, a small blush along with a rush of adrenaline flowed through me, I haven't felt like this ever since my last relationship with Avery.. Oh he was so nice.. I miss him and so does figgy. It was one of my favorite relationship experiences, I wish we were both ready for the commitment. I wish him well. F^ck he looked good in green. As I'm lost in thought I heard a knock on the door...

I got up and answered the door.

"Hello..? "

"H-hey! " she smiled shyly
I smiled and hugged her immediately, I wanted to cry. Shes the one who inspired me to write my song Trying, and she was definitely there for me, and was Trying.

"I missed you!! " she exclaimed

"I missed you too! How have you been!? "

"Oo, uhm.. Alright I guess. I broke up with Jack last week, and got put on new meds, how about you? "

"Oh my god.. I'm so sorry!! And I've been doing better! Want to listen to my new song now? "

"Yeah! "

I turned the music on.. And got an Idea.

"Do you want to dance? Like how we did at prom when our dates ditched us? " I chuckled

"Sure! " she smiled

I put my hands on her waist and she put hers around my neck, and we smiled. Her face was so bright, shes so sweet.

"You can come home to me~" I sang she smiled, and leaned in for a hug, I hugged her back.

"Robbie? "

"Yes lils? "

"Why did we ever stop hanging out? "

"Well.. Life happened, you got a boyfriend, my career took off and we didn't have time for each other. .. "

"Please don't let that happen again. I'll try as well, I don't want to lose you again.. "

"Okay, I promise.. "

"Figgy is here btw" I added

"Really!? " she smiled

"Yup! "

"FIGGG!!" I called out, he came trotting in towards us.

"Hi babyyy!!!" She baby talked him, I blushed for some reason.

"Aww he really likes you!! " I giggled

"Yeah! Aww I love him so much!! "

"Haha, me too! " I laughed

"Mroww" yelled fig, I assumed he wanted treats so I gave him a few,
She giggled as figgy ate them

I suddenly grabbed her hand and pulled her towards me, "robbie! " she giggles i kissed her

"Oh robin! I love you so much! "

BEEEP BEEEEPPPP BEEEEEEEEEEP

"My god- God damnit not again" I sighed as I turned my alarm off, I once again dreamt about my roommate, it's so weird because I'm aroace and shes in a relationship with someone, but I some how still have a massive crush on her. We eat dinner together every night, we watch movies together etc, Were so close to each other, but I think she just thinks of me like a friend or a brother, which weirdly makes me feel lower than usual.

I checked the time and it was 11:39 am, I sighed, got dressed and walked out into the main area where Lily and her boyfriend were watching TV together

"Morning guys" I said Groggily (💀✋)
"Morning! " lils exclaimed

"Shut up! oh my lord-" Quintin yelled, that's her boyfriends name

"Sorry.. " she whispered

"Excuse me? " my mouth dropped as I looked Quintin up and down in disgust

"What? I'm just putting her in her place! " he smirks

"No, that's not how we talk to women, AT ALL. Your mum mustn't have taught you right, now get the hell out my house. " I stated

"Wow, at least my 'mum' didn't contemplate kicking me out"

"QUINTIN, HE SAID LEAVE. YOU NEVER LISTEN, GET OUT" Lils yelled

"FINE. JUST SO YOU KNOW, THIS. THIS IS OVER. "

"FINE! " She yelled

"FINE! " he yelled back

"FINE! " she screamed

I went back to making tea while he packed his things and left.
