Chapter 1: Anxiety

When I first came to Ranch View Middle School I was sad that I left my old school behind. But on the first day my mom was having surgery on her pinky. So of course I was worried for her, so I called her and there was no answer. "She is probably in surgery right now," I said to myself. So I went back to the classroom and sat down next to my friend that I had just made. "Are you okay Caitlyn, you seem a little anxious about something." " Yeah I'm fine just a little nervous about starting a new school," I said smiling. we were watching the announcements when I felt like I was going to pass out.i was just picturing about me falling to the ground and everyone circling around me. We when we're done with the announcements we all shared what we did over the summer. " I spent time with my friends and we went to Water world it was so cool," Izzy said laughing. " I went to California and Las Vegas," I said rumbling my fingers together. After everyone shared it was time to go to Period 1. I was so nervous in that classroom I didn't think I could stand up to go to the bathroom. Eventually, I got up to ask Mr. Termed to go to the bathroom. I really actually went to the Nurses office to say that I wasn't feeling good today. They took my temperature and they said it was normal. I went back to class and I asked to go to the bathroom again. I was in the bathroom and I asked myself why do I keep doing this I can just go in there and be normal like everyone else or I could call my Grandma to come pick me up from school. I called my Grandma and she said that I was going to be fine. So finally there was only 5 more minutes of class and when I walked in to classroom everyone stopped and looked at me. Omg worst moment of my life and the worst part was my seat was in the front of my class. Mr. Yerkes told me to take my seat so I walked up in front of everyone and took my seat.
