I look over to see Roxy, she is smiling as she rambles about anything that crosses her mind. Mostly drama with her friends and such.

All I can notice is the poorly bleached blonde hair she tried to get after she had her hair pink for months. It ended up going to a strawberry blonde tone.

She hates it, says it matches nothing she has. But I can't help but think she looks stunning with it. It compliments her skin tone so well, it brings out the pink in her eyes, and checks. I just love everything about her, she's the reason the world is so much more colorful, she makes the sky bluer and the trees and grass greener.

She snapped her fingers in my face "Yo earth to Crocker, hey girly you even listening to me!" She tilted her head, trying to make eye contact with me.

I smiled and chuckled nervously, rubbing the back of my neck. "Yes I am, you don't need to get spicy with me!" I blushed.

She didn't respond, they just stood up from where they were sitting, and started to brush some dirt off their knees, and the back of their pink skirt. Then she stretched her arms over her head, and sighed.

"Hey Rox, where are you going?" looking up to her confused, slightly scared she noticed me fawning over her.

"Jesus Jane, I'm getting something from the car. Don't get your granny panties in a twisted. I'll be back." She rolled her eyes, pushing my head back with her pointer finger.

I mumbled when she did that and playfully pushed her hand away, and she just put a L up to her head, sticking her tounge out. Then they extended their hands out and started to do a grabby motion. I put the dots together and assumed she wanted my keys, I reached into my pocket and felt the blue rabbit keychain she had gotten me, I pulled it out and handed it to her.

Then she waved her hand, and skipped down the hill. I just sat there watching them go down. I leaned back and turned over, I saw next to me her pink converse with hearts sketched onto them.

'Shot she must have forgotten to put them on.' I leaned back up and grabbed her shoes and started to wave them around.

"ROXY YOU FORGOT YOUR SHOES COME BACK HERE! DON'T BE WALKING AROUND BAREFOOT!"

She looked back and put their hands up, probably not caring. I started to wave them more aggressively, and with that they continued her way to my dad's car. Ignoring me.

I sighed, and layed back down. I looked over to where her shoes were, which was where she was sitting and saw an independent in the grass. I just imagined her there again, and just smiling looking at me. My heart starts to ache as I think of them.

They just are so amazing.. I can't believe I'm so lucky to have them as a friend. Yup just a friend nothing more... I look up, staring at the tree we have been laying under, it had white flowers blooming in it. I was losing myself to the sound of trees swaying in the wind, and the birds singing.

I was awakened to the smell of Roxy's cotton candy perfume, I opened my eyes and she was standing over me, her face inches from mine. I just froze, she just looked so extraordinary. Her light freckled checks, her checks which are naturally blushed.

She threw the keys on my chest which snaped me out of my trances "Hey Janey, I'm bored. Remember on the way coming here we saw a field of sunflowers? Can we drive there? It's a lot more pretty than this shitty place."

I pushed her away, my face heated like a burner. "Ya why not. Just put your shoes on! I don't need you getting your nice socks all dirty.''

She ignored my comment as she sat back down and put her shoes on. I grabbed the basket of sweets I brought for our outing. Then we headed off back to my dads car.
