I awoke in the morning to the sound of birds and the scent of the forest clogged deep into my nose. I jerked to glance around and found I was still in Lupus form as well as Roman was beside me. Memories from our primal mating rose back into my head as the fog of sleepiness faded from my mind. If I'd been in human form a heat of blush would've risen to my cheeks, but I wasn't and I was thankful for it.
It had been exhilarating and connected us even further, something I hadn't thought possible. But apparently it had. It wasn't awkward with my different form and if anything it felt even more natural than our human joining. Basically two wolves mating, but with a bit more emotion since we had human sides as well. It was beautiful and I knew if we survived, our child would be just that; beautiful.
I nudged Roman gently with my muzzle, knowing that today was the day we would invade the compound and rip the Jaecars to shreds. I was excited and a bit fearful, but if we succeeded, all would be well. Roman stirred slightly, but didn't wake up and I decided my voice might be better use than attempting to shove him awake.
I slid off to the side and closed my eyes, picturing my human form with clear quality and began to feel the ache in my bones. Minutes later, I was snapping and contorting into awkward positions before finally becoming whole and human. A breeze I hadn't felt before brushed against my skin and though it was a gentle, warm breeze, I still felt my sensitive, bare skin getting goosebumps. I shivered and made my way back over to Roman-the-wolf.
"Roman," I murmured, shaking him lightly. "Roooman!"
He jerked finally upon hearing my voice and his blue eyes blinked open to look at me. I could see the slight confusion on his face before it cleared and his eyes rovered down my nude form a bit lustfully. I swatted his muzzle and he snorted, giving me a cheeky wolf grin before I watched his body begin to shake and quiver revealing Roman's naked human form.
"What is it, love?" he grinned as he turned and pulled me into his arms, making me smile.
"Be serious, Roman. We've got things to do today as you know..." I murmured, my smile slipping from my face as I thought about Claire and the horrid humans.
"The Jaecars," he murmured, more to himself. "Well c'mon then. We'll need a decent breakfast and to talk with the pack, Bree and Elliere before we do this."
I nodded and we began walking back to the pack house hand in hand. Nudity wasn't a concern anymore, the pack and the Jaecars were.

Darkness was falling by the time everything was in place with a finality that was as serious and permanent as stone. The whole pack was tense and riddled with slight worry. Cole had still wanted to come and take down the evil bítch with us, but he knew he was needed at the house with Sarah, Holden and Lilith. He had clutched the little girl as she wailed for her parents whose faces appeared heartbroken that they had to leave their daughter alone. A little reassurance from Annalise and Yorik however kept them in place.
We had left, having decided to take cars with extra clothes located in the trunk. The drive was riddled with worry, tension and strain. I had stared out the window most of the way and held Roman's hand in my own to keep calm. He'd give my hand a squeeze every now and then and a slight smile, but I knew he was just as tense and stressed as I was. Elliere was driving the first vehicle with us in it while the others followed in another. I could sense he was filled with tension as well, but there was a determination written across his face as he drove. He wanted this, needed this and he was going to get it.
The car slowed and I watched as Elliere parked it on the side of a wooded road. He turned to us and said it was time to climb out. He had purposely parked a few miles away from the compound so we'd have the cars to slide into to get away in case something went wrong though I was positive it wouldn't.
It had taken us about twenty minutes to reach the fence of the compound in our Lupus forms. The fence was just like the the day Elliere and I had escaped and it brought back a wave of emotion just knowing I was back here. This time however I was back with my pack and my friends to slaughter Claire, not running away for my life.
I glanced back at the pack as anxiety and adrenaline pumped through me. Bree was shuffling nervously between Trevor and Cody as wolves, her green eyes filled with worry. Damion and Luke appeared grim faced while Eva and Winter were behind them who looked as though they might wet their pants for once instead of the confident bítches I usually knew. Chloe and Garrett were closer to the front with Annalise, Yorik and Aurora looking anxious though still in control. Roman and I were even closer to the front however.
We were just behind Elliere who was leading us into the compound. We were nervous, it surrounded us, but I wasn't going to let it suffocate me. I had to be strong, this was my revenge though it wasn't just for me. It was for all the Lupus and with that determination in mind, I straightened up. I gave Roman's furred body a nuzzle, sent him a wolfy smile and my eyes turned to gaze into Elliere's two toned eyes and nodded.
Let's do this.
